LOGAN, UT (WFLX)  A wife in Utah who was tired of being second to her husband's video game addiction decided to post her man for sale on Craigslist.

Alyse Baddley told The Salt Lake Tribune she did it as a joke and even her mother-in-law encouraged the gag.

The ad was cleverly written, and remains posted to the online classifieds site.

"I am selling my 22 year old husband. He Enjoys eating and playing video games all day. Easy to maintain, just feed and water every 3-5 hours. You must have Internet and space for gaming. Got tired of waiting so free to good home. If acceptable replacement is offered will trade."

It wasn't long after Alyse posted the "One husband to the highest bidder" ad, that she began to see some traffic, according to the Tribune.

Alyse said her husband Kyle, a war veteran, spent most of his day playing "Modern Warfare" and not paying any attention to her.

Alyse told the Tribune she didn't think anyone would respond, but apparently there's a high demand for a 22-year-old husband, as Alyse said she's been inundated with potential takers, those concerned about their marriage and even photo requests.

Kyle was a good sport about the whole thing, saying he loves his wife, who encouraged him to buy the video game in the first place, and that he's amused at her ad to sell him.

"It's just funny," he told The Salt Lake Tribune.
