This International Showjumping Stallion was campaigned in Ireland by Joan Greene, Francis Connors and Paul O'shea and achieve too many results to mention over his career this side of the water, he travelled to compete in Athens and Zagreb with Paul O'shea before being exported to Belguim later that year.
It’s The Business is a Grade A International Showjumper Winning well in excess of £30,000 in his short showjumping career before an injury ended his international career at 9 years old.
Jasper, won the Hamburg Jumping Derby and many other international classes. With a heart as big as a lion, and as careful as they come, he has had many admirers. In the 1995 BCM world rankings, Jasper rocketed into seventh place on the list of top progenitors. Of course, this Courville son had already made a name for himself in International jumping as Little One, but he seems equally competent as producer of showjumping horses. Considering the qualities of Legato, Jabot, El Padrino, Elton, Degina, Avontuur, Copa Cobana, King Size and Wodan B, it seems likely that Jasper will be one of the regulars in the top rankings for years to come.
Master Imp is currently the best TB stallion in Ireland producing top quality sport horses and his progeny have achieved success in showing (i.e. Imperial Way,Kelly's Imp), showjumping (i.e. Lismakin, Master Ballinteskin, Master of Moments) and eventing competitions (i.e. Ballyhane Imp & Enniskerry Imp). Master Mexico is currently considered 'one of the most exciting young event horses on the circuit...' Mandiba was voted ‘Event Horse of the Year’ in the USA.
Imperious is the sire of not only Master Imp but also the well know Puissance (out of a King of Diamonds grand daughter) and of international jumpers Vivaldi (Nelson Pessoa’s Grand Prix horse and winner of the Hickstead Derby at the age of 21), Master Maddox and Slyguff (who jumped off for the bronze medal in the Los Angeles Olympics). He was also the sire of Bright Imp to name but a few.
