Welcome to my LBA projects website, The Sacred Carrot!

This website is intended to show all Little Big Adventure projects written by me, Alexandre Fontoura aka alexfont.
Here you'll see some of the important locked secrets in the LBA world and ofcourse what could you do to change the game by modding.
Will include some researchs I did for LBA file formats through documents showing all the details, the source code of all current version of my released programs, the source code of other programs I did for testing things before doing something more "big", some modifications I did for LBA and some other projects I'm in related to the LBA world.

LBAnimator Studio v0.1.2 is out!! - Date: 11.03.08 - Hour: 21:05:02
This is another release which take a lot to be out, more than 1 year. When I start this in the past days working on it, I couldn't remember what I did and what I was supposed to do :), but after some hours spending on it, I think I came with a few but good features.

Don't expect a totally change of the engine, it will need a lot more effort to get a more user friendly interface, but I hope to make it in future. This only fixes some bugs and give some new nice features.

Like it happen with LBA Prequel website, I moved Sacred Carrot from ChaosFish webserver account to my own server account.
All the website should be running without problems, but if you found something strange, please let me know.

The new Sacred Carrot domain is: http://sacredcarrot.xesf.net so please update your bookmarks.

My personal page will be at xesf.net and I hope to make it as soon as possible.


Another Screen Viewer release!! - Date: 12.08.07 - Hour: 13:51:50
Here's a little release for Screen Viewer.
It have fixed a bug left in the previous version, improved the palette conversion time, changed the way the palette is displayed in the program and add feature to get color information from the palette.


New version of LBA Screen Viewer - Date: 08.08.07 - Hour: 15:51:24
As most of you already know, this version include the FLA Movie converter written by MGLC, something we all except for so many time. Apart from that, few other things were added and few other fixed. Just check the changes file for a better report. You also can have a little FAQ for this new converter under the readme file.

The source code is also available together with the FLA converter.


LBA Story Coder v0.5.0 released!!! - Date: 07.01.07 - Hour: 18:02:24
Finally after almost a year without a new version of Story Coder, the time as come.

First, I'd like to tell that is now possible to code a new story for LBA1 and use it in both LBA1 original engine and LbaWin port. Both Life and Track scripts are now compiled at a 99% rate.

Second, Story Coder have now a great relationship with Zink's LBArchitect Builder program which gives a better and easy way to manage scenes in the LBA world. So I advice you to pick up both programs to not loose anything ;)

Third, the program have lots of fixes and new things like a User Manual, and you should check the Change log for more informations.

I hope you like this new version and as always I'm waiting your help by giving comments, reporting bugs or giving new ideas.

LBA Screen Viewer v1.5 released!!! - Date: 22.12.06 - Hour: 01:48:07
Returned from the deaths!
After almost 2 years without releasing any version of this program, I decide to make a small release with few fixes I had in the previous versions. Check it out!!

Source code was updated and you can also download it from "Projects/Downloads" section.


LBAnimator Studio v1.1 released!!! - Date: 04.11.06 - Hour: 02:15:36
A new version of LBAnimator Studio is now available in the download section.

This version only have a new and small feature to help animating models and have few fixes. Check changes.txt or help file for more informations.

Don't forgot to help me improving this tool, by reporting bugs, requesting features, etc..


A new tool... - Date: 08.10.06 - Hour: 19:20:01
First of all, sorry for a non-constant update of this website, but I hope with this new tool and the upcoming next version of LBA Story Coder this website could get more updates.

The new tool I have to announce is the LBAnimator Sutdio, a program to edit and view the LBA1 3D models and animations. This program was motivated by the LBA Prequel project who surely would need something like this to be as perfect as possible.

I'd like you to give some feedbacks about the program and also, if you have some bug or feature to report, please, use the Bug Tracking System the way I could have all things saved.

The Sacred Carrot website has been launched!

A new version of LBA Scene Editor as been release with this site, named LBA Story Coder. Many improvements was been made and you need to check it out.

This will be my LBA projects site, so all my programs will be updated here.

A bug tracker has been added with this site and all my programs and also Zink and Obrasilo programs are include. You can now help us improving this programs.
