Lingan Golf Club

Lingan Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in existence in Canada with a strong history and tradition.  The golf club has hosted Canadian and Provincial golf championships with the most recent being the Nova Scotia Men’s Amateur Championship in 2008.  We also host one of the biggest and storied annual men’s invitational championships, the Cape Breton Roadbuilders presented by Caper Auto Sales.  This event was established in 1968 and has seen some of the top amateur golfers from the Maritimes participate.  

The club maintains a sizable membership and also offers green fees options to the public.  There is a practice range, putting and chipping greens and a full service pro shop on site.  Club and power cart rentals are available for those who require them, although Lingan is a very walkable course and typically plays in under four hours.   Jamie MacIntosh and his professional staff offer a wide variety of lessons and group clinics.
