Who We Are
IDSI is a mechanical design firm focused on the electronics industry. Almost all of our projects
involve PCBs and designing around displays, switches, keypads and connectors. We primarily
design plastic enclosures for injection molding, and also design die cast, extruded aluminum,
and fabricated sheet metal cases.
We also design other components, such as sheet metal chassis, brackets, and mounting
hardware that interface with electronic hardware.
The material and process is determined by the client specification, and by the total number of
parts required. Our goal is to make the most cost-effective solution that satisfies the design
requirements.
