 All camps are for children ages 5-10 years old from 9:00am-4:00pm

· Parents may drop off beginning at 8:45

· 5-year-olds must have experience in full-day classes before attending

New Exhibit: Lost Worlds

Blending art, history, and paleontology, Lost Worlds: The Microphotography of Extinct Species not only shows the stunning beauty of microphotography, but it also invites visitors to study the bones and teeth of extinct organisms, offering a new viewpoint of some of our planet’s most stunning creatures. Lost Worlds is on view in the West Gallery, on the museum’s second floor.

Relaxed Night at the Museum

Relaxed Nights are evenings for anyone who might get overwhelmed by crowds, sounds, or flashing lights. Or, for individuals who simply enjoy smaller crowds. These sensory friendly evenings are for guests of all ages and will feature special, sensory friendly offerings in the museum on select evenings.

Planetarium welcomes new, immersive performance

Starting on Dec. 8, head to the Planetarium for Mesmerica 360, a fully immersive music and art cinematic projection show. Mesmerica 360 blends the atmospheric music of James Hood with visually stunning graphics and imagery. For more information and to purchase tickets, go to: tickets.mesmerica.com/albuquerque.

Origins Hall Closed

The museum’s Origins Hall has closed as part of a comprehensive re-imagining of the exhibit space. The new hall, titled Ancient Life, will feature hundreds of never-before-seen fossils from NMMNHS’s Research Collections and be the largest exhibition of its kind in the Southwest. Ancient Life is expected to open in late 2024, please check the website for additional details as the project progresses.
