My back has been hurting for a while (about 4 months) and I happen to have sciatica (ouch)
after trying couple of things somebody suggested Thai massage, after looking on yelp, seeing distances, reviews, $$, etc
I decided to go to Ajasrika

The spa is kinda hidden behind a mattresses store (I got lost and was like 10 min late for my appt). The place is quite nice, smells delicious, super relaxing!

Chelsea greeted me and proceed with the massage.
It was awesome! it relieve my back and hip pain, caused by the overuse of the computer :(
the time flew! I slept half of the time, regardless how dynamic is this massage.
Chelsea is great! she really knows how and where to massage.
I have been a total of 3 times and my back and hip are feeling better!
I wish I was able to afford comming here more often :(

** TIP: When you check in with Yelp you get 10% discount!
      (YEAH!)

      5 stars! definitely recommended!

I have been here a couple times and I will continue to come here! 6 out of 5 stars for sure!

This hole in the wall gem is very personable. The staff are all very friendly, considerate, and knowledgable. They do not mind explaining different treatments, massages etc making you feel comfortable in choosing a service which best fits you.

I have done the couples massage and ear candling and both were amazing. They have many different holistic healing services, from detoxification, chakra balancing, massages - the whole enchilada!

But my favorite part about this place is the atmosphere. They really know how to set a calming and relaxing mood here. When you walk in they have aromatherapy (I think that's what it's called) going and it immediately cleanses your nostrils, making you feel refreshed. They serve you the most delicious tea ever along with a yummy cookie. I definitely suggest trying the lovers tea or white coconut cream tea! Soooo soothing.

I have tried a handful massage places in the past-the cheapy ones that hurt your back the next day, over priced chain ones, and touristy ones in Asia and the U.K. and honestly out of all of the ones I have tried this is my favorite spot hannnnnds down! (::::

I can go on and on about how amazing this place is. I definitely suggest giving this place a try!!!!!

The tea/waiting room(: aka the yummy room ! This is the room where they serve beverages while you wait for your appointment
Soooo bomb! White coconut cream tea!

Today my boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Ajasrika Wellness Center. We enjoyed the Signature Massage in the couples room. This was purchased through groupon and we only needed to pay $15 extra to enjoy this experience together.

The staff were complete professionals from the moment we opened the door. We were greeted by name, and promptly escorted to the lovely tea room. Yajaira and Phillip are very good at what they do. I am not usually fully relaxed as the massage begins but this was the first time I experienced full relaxation. They allow you to select or create your aromatic experience (I loved this!)

I also appreciated the soft lovely music and that both professional were very quiet. I have had several massages but this experience rose to the top. I am going to give them another try before I sign up for their membership program - which is a great deal.

Other notes, the spa is clean and romantic - it's small but they make the most out of the space and you feel transformed the minute you walk in. It's hidden in a business center between Katella and Cambridge - I liked that there was plenty of parking, minimal wait and no pressure to leave quickly.

      I will be back soon.

Liked this place A LOT. But received a gift card from my spouse for $125.00 worth of services from this place for Mothers Day and turns out days after the purchase they closed their doors.

Personally, I think its unconscionable to take someones money knowing full well that you will not honor the contract.

      A hidden gem!
This is my first time at this spa and it sure lives up to the yelp hype! I'm so happy!
First off, location. The spa is located in a small office plaza behind OC mattress. Parking was super easy in the lot. It looks small and unassuming on the outside, but once I stepped in, it was super calm and inviting.

There's the welcome with the receptionist. Once you tell her your name she knows exactly what your booked and leads you to the relaxation room and she offers you water or tea. I opted for the tea and it sure was yummy. They also have some fruit to munch on. A perfect decaf SPA-ah type of tea. After completing some general form, I kicked back on the chaise lounge chair, listened to the music they played and looked out to the garden like patio that's super calming.

My therapist April came shortly. I booked the $60min swedish + aromatherapy + add on (I got the head massage). April was super sweet, she took me to the aromatherpy area and got me a good relaxation mix. Smelled earthy and florist- great combo. April then led me to her massage room- equally calming and soothing. Everything was thought out nicely- there's a fluffy slipper and a robe behind the door.

Enough of the frilly stuff, what about the massage itself- you ask. April was great- a perfect blend of strong and soft. Not so harsh you cringe in pain or so soft you feel nothing. My shoulder was super super tight and I knew it- so April recommend that I do the signature massage instead. The draw back was that I had to pay $10 more. I was fine with that and didn't feel like she was trying to up sell me. I really needed something stronger.

The aromatherapy was a nice touch and helped add to the massage- but not necessary. April did have me start by breathing in the oils and would apply it and I think she even sprayed some in the air. Oh and I believe she had it in the sheets and the eye mask she put on me.

The head massage was just ok. I wish it was longer and the coconut oil was ok. Smelled nice though.

At the end of the massage, they give you another cup of tea with a yummy snack. April told me to dip it in the tea- YUM! Where did they buy this cookie?

      Til next time Bravo Ajasrika!

Always 5 stars all the way around - BUT IT'S CLOSING! :( How can we help??

Just got this message from Sanja:

      - - - - - - - -

      To Our Beloved Ajasrika family,

I am devastated to announce the closure of Ajasrika Wellness Spa.

I have sustained significant financial loss over the past two years and I am without resources to remedy my situation. I have been advised by my attorney to close Ajasrika Wellness Spa immediately.

At this time I am simply handling the most immediate legal issues. In the next few days I will be in communication with you.

For those who have an auto-pay membership, these have been cancelled.
For those who have upcoming appointments scheduled, they all have been cancelled.

I am destroyed by this sudden turn of events and my heart is heavy for the impact on our staff and so many of you who have found Ajasrika Wellness Spa as a place of healing.

I am grateful for my eight and a half years and all the relationships we have built and the many people we have taken care of.

Thank you for your love and support.

      Namaste,

      Sanja Oropeza"

Part of me wants to keep this place off the radar, but as a Yelper, I must advocate for great businesses. Hands down the best massage place I have been to. I've received massages from Glen Ivy and other well-known spas, but this place rocks! Great bang for the buck and spectacular customer service! They are definitely a gem to have in Orange County. My massage with Megan H. was awesome and relaxing. Very professional. You must get the hot-stones in addition to your massage...it makes a difference!

Sign up and follow them on Facebook and Yelp. They have fantastic special offers from month to month. You won't regret checking it out.

I bought the groupon for the 60 min Swedish massage with enhancement and decided to make it a spa day while I was at it and also scheduled a facial for the same day. I have probably driven past this spa a million times and never realized it was there, however, once you get inside you feel like you are at a private retreat and not in the city of Orange.

Once you get checked in you're lead to the back to their super cute lounge area, that has comfy chairs to sit in and a tea bar that you can order from while you wait. Also, in the bathroom they have a hand scrub for you to use and it is great! I think I used the bathroom three times just to use the scrub.

My massage was with April and along with the massage I decided to throw in dry brushing and a scalp massage AND if you check in on yelp while you're there they throw in hot stones, yes please! Prior to getting my massage April walked me over to their aroma bar and she helped put together a soothing oil for my massage, I ended up going with a mixture of sage, grapefruit and lavender. Let me tell you, from the moment she started to the very end all I kept telling myself is this is the BEST massage I have ever had! I had a few knots in my shoulders and she got them out and it didn't hurt, I don't know how she managed to do that but it was AMAZING. Ive never had any of the three enhancements before but I am so glad I got them done and I will definitely get them again.

After my massage and felt like butter, I had my facial with Debbie, unfortunately, I don't have the best skin so I got the acne facial. It was not very relaxing due to the extractions, however, afterwards my face felt so clean.

When I was all done I was led back to the lounge area and given tea and a cookie and told I can relax there as long as I needed, which was nice not have to be rushed out.

Overall, this was the BEST massage I ever had and there's a reason why they won the award for it. I'll definitely come back to get a massage with April in the near future. Also, do yourself a favor and get the scalp massage you'll feel like a whole new person.

Remember to check in on yelp, you get a free enhancement!

I just want to "ditto" Danette, but I'll add onto the review.

I had a Groupon. I'm a spa diva (on the likes of the Burke Williams spa experience, or the oh-I-am-in-silky-skin-heaven Korean massages), so to discover it was in a strip mall disappointed me--initially. I walked in to essential oils releasing tension from my mind. I was escorted to the Tea Room where someone was softly snoring (meaning to me that her experience must have been relaxing) and the decor (for a concrete alley) was heavenly. The lights were turned low. The candles were illuminating. The (fake) sounds of the babbling brook put me at ease.

I don't believe anyone in this spa knows how to whisper (don't break the mood!), but the remainder of the experience was WONDERFUL. My masseuse read my profile, inquired about my injuries, applied enough pressure to particular areas, and put me to sleep. LOL. If I can doze, you've done well.

This was a great experience that I'd repeat.
