The mission of The scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children is to provide children in need with the opportunity for a quality, values-based education in a safe environment.
Our recipients come from economically disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds within Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Union counties in New Jersey. Our tuition assistance is based on need without regard to gender, race, religion or ethnic background.

How We
Make an Impact
The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children (SFIC) was originally established Forty years ago, in 1983, as The Fund for Educational Advancement. Since then, SFIC has provided over 61,766 students with over $53,500,000 in partial tuition assistance. Thanks to our donors SFIC each year provides partial tuition assistance awards to many families.
