Needed a deep clean in preparation for our new baby coming home from the hospital. I needed someone to make the house like new, with all non toxic products. Indeed, the house looked like new and every special request was fulfilled. In fact, after my filthy carpet broke their vaccume, they came back and finished the job a second time, revaccuming the entire house not just the places that were left undone....My fridge was spotless, and they even worked an hour overtime to get every last detail. The house looked and smelled great, not like chemicals or bleach....perfect.

I have used their service for more than a year. Clean Sweep was extremely good until about two months ago.
There was an operations manager named Rudy, who actually handled the cleaning service and contacted customers. About two months ago, he and his partner, Dave Molnar, went separate ways. The owner, Dave Molnar, did not have any customer information and he was left to deal with the operations mess. Actually, there was no excuse for not knowing anything about his customers when he owned the company, but I understood the difficult situation Dave faced.
The first cleaning service after Dave took over was a disaster; my towels were not even touched and the cleaning result was worse than doing it myself. AND they locked my cat in the room multiple times. Gradually, their amateur cleaning skills improved, but not quite to the professional level. I stuck with him even with his amateurish cleaning service because I empathized with him.
This holiday season, he asked me if he could come on Tuesday instead of Thursday. So I told him to come on Tuesday. However, when I called to confirm, he asked if he could come on Wednesday instead since one other customer in my building wanted him to come on Wednesday. Of course, I said that would be fine.
Then when I came home from work on Tuesday, they have been to my place. My place was not ready to receive the cleaning service and therefore my place still looked like crap. AND they locked my cat again in the room. I called to ask what happened and he said, "didn't you ask me to come on Tuesday?" When I reminded him what went on during our phone conversation the day before, he said he was confused about his log, but he visited the other unit in my building on a correct day. So does he keep close attention to other customers but not to me? That makes me unhappy, but I was more annoyed that he just came by and did a half-ass job. I told him that he really does not deserve the payment for this cleaning service. He could not really argue since he knew he screwed up.
Here is another crazy part. He sent me an email after a few days and told me that he would like to go separate ways and that I should take the free cleaning service as a holiday gift from him. Well, if I am the one who wasn't happy with his cleaning service, should I be the one to part ways? I was patient enough to let him service my place during the times he was struggling. He drops me when he gets one complaint from me for the things he has done. Ha.
When I mentioned the bad review on YELP for Clean Sweep about a month ago, Dave said the review was not real and Rudy was trying to sabotage his business by writing bad reviews. I am really tired of his excuses for not doing a good enough cleaning job. I will find a good cleaning service and write another review very soon.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Glen P.Plano, TX147733Jul 1, 2013
Very happy! We use them monthly for my mother's apartment. First cleaning was desperately needed. They were fast and thorough!

Had A Clean Sweep for the first time and was extremely impressed. Dave (owner) is a true professional: hands-on, detail oriented, and customer focused. I am one of those people who is never happy with the way others clean my home (which is why I end up doing it myself). And, I have to say, I was a little wary when 2 MEN showed up to clean my house. As I told them, a "man" was why my house was a wreck to begin with! But Tommy Lee Jones (seriously, his name) and his associate went to work on my extremely dirty home and worked diligently for over 5 hours! Honestly, my house has never been cleaner. Dave came and checked on them during this initial cleaning, which I appreciated.
Looking forward to having them back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Thomas C.Downtown, Dallas, TX20121Jul 19, 2012
The Clean Sweep crew came out to clean my place last week. My apartment had not been "professionally" cleaned for a while and these guys did a fantastic job bringing back that "just moved in feeling" to my place. They even went above and beyond by folding some clothes I had lying around! I highly recommend this hard-working team of cleaners....and I'll definitely be using this service again!

I usually make my own research in reviews and don't let my husband book anything. I'm picky and very difficult to deal with, and like to get my buck's worth (like anyone that works hard for their money). I'll admit I was surprised when I saw Dave at the door. I was even more surprised when I saw the end result. It was worth every penny, my place was a hot mess before! In my opinion he went above and beyond with that mess. Too bad we are moving to a different city, but I'll refer him to anyone in the area I know. Awesome job, thank you!

The women were only here for about an hour and fifteen minutes. It was a very superficial clean. They used my vacuum and completely overfilled the canister and didn't even bother emptying it. The women were friendly but seemed very rushed. They couldn't even remember the name of the man I was supposed to make the check out to, which I found very strange. I got no followup phone call and will certainly never recommend this company to others. Big waste of money

Kay,
A few things stand out in your review that do not match up with how A Clean Sweep runs business. In reference to, "They used my vacuum and completely overfilled the canister and didn't even bother emptying It." -We provide our own cleaning equipment so there would be no need to use a client's equipment. Also, "They couldn't even remember the name of the man I was supposed to make the check out to, which I found very strange."- We only take checks payable to the business name, A Clean Sweep. I think we have a case of mistaken identity for who came into your home... The man who used to be our operations manager was terminated for having customers make personal checks out to him, along with servicing A.C.S. customers on the side. He is telling people he still works with A Clean Sweep, but he does not. He is not insured, not bonded, and is conducting business illegally under A Clean Sweep's name. It sounds like the clean you received was not A.C.S., but a desperate man using our business's name to make money. Furthermore, you are not in our database as a customer and we have no record of ever servicing your home. Thus we have no way to contact you other than a reply here. This is a very upsetting situation to everyone involved and I can assure you we are more upset than you are. However, to make up for you're horrible experience please call our office at 214-614-8440 and ask for either of the owners, Dave Molnar or Damon Laws. They will be more than happy to get you taken care of and sort out the situation.
