Eyes wide open now! ❤️
As December rolled around we watched our puggle take it’s first curious steps around it’s enclosure. We were all so excited watching the puggle learn to navigate and interact with it’s environment. The puggle had a lovely coat of fur at this point with it’s spines just starting to peak through the fur.

I was amazed to see my first Tassie echidna. So much fur compared to NSW.
How special

Check out those tiny feet! This adorable photo was taken just 2 weeks from our first sighting, at this point we were still lucky to get a quick peek before Eddie would be covering it back over. At this point the two male echidnas Eddie shares her enclosure with were wondering what the fuss is all about. It had become our mission to keep them away from the puggle to ensure it got all the rest it needed to grow big and strong.
