This year we turn the light off on a name that has served this business well for almost 48 years. Our view towards Bogong has become less and less each year and the name’s purpose, both geographically and aesthetically, diminishes each year. Motel Sierra is inspired by Mount Buffalo. Using the Spanish language ‘Sierra’ to describe a rocky mountain edge. It’s my nod to the area without it being too literal. Motel Sierra adds an aesthetic and simplicity that I’ve been looking for during my 12 years in this business. Please join us to celebrating this new direction and era.
