OPEN ENROLLMENT 2024 Open Enrollment begins Monday, May 20 and ends on Friday, June 7 at 5:00 p.m. (AKDT). The Trust is pleased to continue to provide affordable, high-quality benefits with NO INCREASE in monthly contributions to our members for the seventh year in a row!
You MUST complete Open Enrollment if:
- You want to change your Plan choice.
- You want to enroll in a HCRA. Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) elections do not roll over. If you want to have a HCRA in 2024/2025, you MUST enroll in a HCRA during Open Enrollment.
- You and your spouse are enrolled in Plan A. You MUST confirm your spouse’s eligibility for other employer-sponsored coverage EACH YEAR. Failure to do so will result in a monthly surcharge of $125.
Beginning May 20, you may click on “Open Enrollment” at the top of this page to log in and complete your Open Enrollment online quickly and securely. Or you may complete the Open Enrollment Form in your Open Enrollment packet which will be mailed to you by May 20. You can either mail or fax your completed form to the Trust Administrative Office or submit it by attaching it to a secure message through Contact Us.
Look for your Open Enrollment packet to arrive in your mail by Monday, May 20. Please read the materials in your packet and consider if you would like to change your Plan choice, enroll in a HCRA, and learn more about the spousal surcharge if you have enrolled your spouse in Plan A. If you don’t receive your Open Enrollment packet by May 20, please contact the Administrative Office by phone at 866-553-8206 or by secure message using Contact Us.
THE NEW TRUST EAP, RESOURCES FOR LIVING PROVIDED THROUGH AETNA, BEGAN JANUARY 1, 2024 As of January 1, 2024, the Trust’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is provided through Aetna Resources for Living.
The EAP’s services will remain the same. When you or your enrolled dependents need help managing personal, family, and work issues, the EAP allows up to six free counseling sessions per year plus referrals to community information and other services including child/elder care assistance, legal services, assistance with workplace issues and more.

UPDATED “SUMMARY OF BENEFIT PLAN CHANGES” POSTED Click here to view the “Summary of Benefit Plan Changes”, updated July 2023, with Plan changes effective July 1 including information about Delta Dental of Alaska, the Plan’s new Dental Plan PPO and benefit administrator, the added orthodontia benefit, and the increase in the combined number of visits allowed for chiropractic, massage therapy and acupuncture care.
