Roland Martin is the Geospatial & Earth Observation Skills Leader for the Americas at Arup. He has 18 years of experience in geospatial and digital consulting. By trade he is a Spatial Data Engineer, but he has always valued versatility, and at different times in his career has built up experience with data collection, management, analysis, visualization, and automation.
Donna Miranda-Begay is a CGIA Board Member – Tribal Representative. Her Tribal affiliation is Tubatulabal, Paiute, Tule River Yokut, and Dine’. She is founder of the new non-profit CA Tribal GIS.
In working with both California Native American Tribes (federally and non-federally recognized) and State government, Donna recognized the need to have Tribal Lands on public government maps.
