DelDOT Launches Be DelAWARE Campaign


In 2023, the DelDOT Leadership Academy was tasked with creating a new safety awareness campaign to connect with the public after 2022 saw a near record number of fatalities on Delaware roads. The result of this effort is the Be DelAWARE campaign; a mission toward zero fatalities on Delaware roads by educating the public, reinforcing the importance of being a responsible commuter and promoting safety throughout the state.

TIIF is established to provide economic assistance for renovation, construction, or any other type of improvements to roads and related transportation infrastructure in order to attract new businesses to this state, or expand existing businesses in this state, when such an economic development opportunity would create a significant number of direct, permanent, quality, full-time jobs.
