About the College

Everyone is entitled to safe and competent health care. To ensure the public interest is protected, regulated health care providers in Ontario must obtain licences or certificates of registration to practise their profession.

The College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) is the governing body established by the provincial government to regulate chiropractors in Ontario. Every chiropractor practising in Ontario must be a registered member of CCO.

Communications to CCO

CCO encourages all stakeholders to forward inquiries relating to CCO to CCO directly. A great deal of information is readily available on the CCO website. Some information (including active investigations for example) is confidential under the RHPA. Please ensure all inquiries are respectful and professional. Please also note CCO may include both your inquiry and CCO’s response on the website or in public information packages to ensure all stakeholders get the same information in the same way and at the same time. Legislation and Ethics Examination and Regulatory Excellence for CCO Members Workshop

Legislation and Ethics Examination

CCO has scheduled an online sitting of the Legislation and Ethics Examination for May 30, 2024. The deadline to apply for this examination is May 13, 2024. Due to the online delivery of the examination, candidates should make themselves available for the entire day. Please complete the application form – May 30, 2024 and submit it to Ms Madeline Cheng, Registration Coordinator to apply for the examination.

CCO will be holding a virtual workshop on Regulatory Excellence for CCO Members (formerly titled the Record Keeping Workshop) on June 3, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm. Please email Rose Bustria at rbustria@cco.on.ca if you are interested in attending this virtually.

Wednesday, September 4, 2024, 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm: Location to be determine in the Kitchener/Waterloo area
