The Culpeper Renaissance, Inc. (CRI) Board of Directors, and staff members are deeply saddened by the passing of Culpeper Town Councilwoman Meaghan E. Taylor. Meaghan’s dedication to our community up to the very end was unwavering. Her love of Culpeper showed through her commitment to volunteerism with many local organizations, and her time on the Town Council.

Meaghan was a CRI Board member, committee member, and volunteer for many years. Her dedication to music and concerts was visible to all. Her commitment to making Culpeper a better place for all was resolute. She enjoyed organizing events that offered a time for locals and visitors to gather and spend time together in the community she loved.

Culpeper has lost a truly special person. Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this very difficult time. CRI Executive Director, Jessica Jenkins said: “Meghean’s beautiful and kind spirit shined through to everyone who met her. Her love of family and community was strong and steadfast. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.”
