Pittsford, Fayetteville-Manlius lead Upstate school rankings

Business First has issued new academic rankings for 431 public school districts in the 48 counties of Upstate New York.

Pittsford is No. 1 in the Upstate standings, followed by Fayetteville-Manlius, Brighton, Williamsville and Skaneateles.

REGIONAL SCHOOL RANKINGS ISSUED IN 2011

Business First has been issuing annual academic rankings of Western New York schools since 1992, based on test results compiled by the New York State Education Department. Annual ratings for the Rochester Area were begun in 2010.
