A longtime resident of Oak Island, Kathryn Langhorne Wiley Canning, “Langhorne,” passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024, at the Southport Health and Rehabilitation Center in Southport, North Carolina.

Charlie died Thursday April 18, 2024 leaving behind his wife, Carol, who he was married to for 70 years; children, Charles Jr., Carolina and Arthur; as well as three wonderful grandchildren.
