Fed up with Mowers, need recommendations

I cut  large graveyards and private houses so I guess they  need different things, but I  was convinced into buying a weibang pro 56  a year ago, and whilst the striping and cut is generally nice, it is flimsy, heavy, and has spent more time in the shop than mowing lawns. I had it serviced a month ago and it has broken again today.Time to get rid and I certainly would not recommend  this weibang.Does anyone have any reocmmendations for profesional mowers- one for cutting large areas like…

Robot mower

Dear all, A client of mine would like to invest in a robot mower for his meadow grass of 5000sqm . Has anyone any ideas on a pro model, or market leader?? We have Belrobotics and Husqvarna locally that fit that seize but I was just wondering if there's a go to model for such work, even if a robot can cut such grass..??? all the best  Paul

Top dressing with silver sand?

I've always found top dressing difficult to apply in the pursuit of a level lawn. It is as they  say an up-hill taskI've recently made a grass terrace , semi circular , about 4-5m in diameter, (with brick retaining  wall . In my haste I may not have compacted the earth correctly, and so the lawn itself could do with raising somewhat. Maybe an inch or so in places.What would you advise?

Capillary Matting for flood control

Hi All,I'm doing some landscaping where I will be laying weed control membrane with a slate covering.My client has had some issues with surface water flooding so we are considering laying capilary matting under the membrane in an attempt to slow the transfer of water.Has anyone done this or can offer an alternative solution.  The area was previously covered with turf, which would have a held an amount of water and slowed its movement.Thanks all
