We are a volunteer driven, donation based non-profit organization.

Founded in 2009 in the rural community of Cajones Guanajuato, we are dedicated to collaborating with individuals, families and communities in education, culture and health enhancing quality of life and well being. We co-create and implement programs within a network of professionals and community members, as well as national and international organizations. Resplandor International is volunteer driven.

Resplandor International and Worlds of Words in collaboration with the College of Education are pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Lorri J. Santamaria as the 2024 Richard Ruiz Scholar in Residence this summer in Guanajuato, Mexico. The presentation entitled “Unveiling Power: Language Policy & The Weaponzing of DEI” will be presented to the greater UA community on Saturday, April 20 at 10 am (MST). You are invited to attend virtually by clicking to register on the link provided below. Dr. Santamaria is a graduate of the College of Education and was a student of both Richard Ruiz and Luis Moll. You can view her attached CV. The presentation is virtual but a group of us are meeting in Worlds of Words to listen to the lecture together so you are also welcome to join us there. Dr. Santamaria´s selection as the scholar this summer includes teaching an international colloquy with UA and University of Guanajuato students as a part of the Verano en México summer study abroad program. She will also engage in associated activities with the greater Guanajuato community and work with families, children and students at Resplandor International.
