Housing Opportunity Waitlist Lottery Opening

The Housing Authority of the City and County of San Francisco (Authority) is opening its waitlist application process for the Section 8 Rental Assistance Demonstration/Project-Based Voucher (RAD/PBV) program.

The Authority will open waitlist applications to the public on 05/28/2024 starting at 8:00 AM and close applications on 06/07/2024 at 5:00 PM.

Annual Plan 2024

The Housing Authority of the City and County of San Francisco is drafting its Annual Plan 2024 (for fiscal year 2025) and will holding a Public Meeting and Public Hearing to present the Annual Plan as well as a comment period slated to begin May 6, 2024-June 20, 2024.

Housing Choice Voucher - Property Owners

A cornerstone of the HCV program is the participation of the property owners who make their properties available for rent to the residents we serve. The Authority partners with over 3,500 landlords to provide affordable, decent, safe and sanitary housing to HCV program participants.

Public Housing

The Public Housing Department owns and manages the agency’s public housing program. Family housing, senior housing, and housing for people with disabilities fall under the department’s oversight.
