Eggettes

First time to this location and absolutely loved it. Eggettes (original) were consistent with other location-- crispy and tasty! The coconut eggettes were also good but I prefer the original more.
The owner was super nice and friendly! She recommended us different drinks and we ended up going with their most popular - honey lemon green tea with boba. Strong tea flavor and super refreshing!
The owner also mentioned the place will be under a different name soon, but still with the same recipe.
The inside seating was clean and had a fun colorful ambience. They have WiFi and not too loud for those who want to grab a drink and snacks while doing some work.
Will definitely be back!!

So sad to see our favorite rice rolls and many other options no longer available.

the eggettes still taste ok, but the fishball is a big no for me. They are the Taiwanese style ones with roes inside (?) , not the hk style one....but randomly there was one round normal fishball without roes inside which was weird...like did they save some old ones from the past? The curry flavor was not right either...so salty.

Drinks were all very generic tasting like sugar water. So many of our favorite drinks are not available anymore.

This location is under new ownership since February and they are great! The mango freeze with 50% sweetness and honey boba is soooo good (tried it twice over a few weeks). They said they've improved the recipes. The eggettes are exactly the same, meaning they're still awesome. The only snacks right now are sweet potato fries, which we're looking forward to trying. The new decor consists of wood paneling and greenery high on the walls, which gives it a nice touch. The servers were really nice and even gave us a gift (extra mango freeze, to try popping boba and jelly, which were yummy). The new team is trying hard to win clientele over and it's working!

I rarely leave reviews, but the new ownership is a no. The drinks are so watered down and the boba consistency is decent but can barely taste anything besides sugar. Please take the feedback from the reviews here and consider improving the drink recipes, particularly the fruit teas. If there's any Eggettes location to learn from, it's the one on Noriega St. in SF. Their fruit teas and freezes are good.

They never seem to open... drop by a Friday afternoon at 4:45pm... not open... ummmmm.... Why?

I haven't given Eggettes a try in many years due, but there has been some really positive changed that makes me consider coming for some specific drinks.

The coconut mango freeze or watermelon freeze is excellent and refreshing. The staff uses real fruit, frozen for the mango and what seems like fresh for the watermelon. The coconut mango freeze is quite good if you like the combination of coconut and mango sort of like a blended Thai dessert you can drink! The watermelon freeze was surprisingly refreshing.

I enjoyed the charcoal honey lemon drink which was sold to me as having some digestive benefits from the activated charcoal that is added to the drink.

The Thai tea also was good with (better) or without boba and the price is quite fair I think.

The original Eggettes is probably the best of the Eggettes waffle offerings. I felt relatively speaking the prices and quality for the drinks I mentioned are great for what you get.

This place has been a Millbrae staple for as long as I been around. It has been hit or miss at times in the past, but if you have not been around in a long time - the new drinks and the classic Thai tea are quite wonderful.

We are so happy Eggettes reopened. I think it is under new ownership but the Eggettes and drinks are still great and the popcorn chicken is back.

Why are the locations always closed? I drove 20 minutes here because yelp said they are open, and it's not. And the south city location only takes cash. TOTAL BS!

New owners, new menu, a bit disappointing. The menu is much shorter and very boring. Eggettes use to be my favorite tea spot in Millbrae but I would only come here now if I wanted an eggette.

Went 3 Saturdays to get snacks for my kids bc they wanted Eggettes. All times closed with no signs or warning. New owners definitely made this place non-existent now; sad as it was only one of the few places that can make eggettes as close to how it should be.
