Welcome
Welcome to my author site – it’s lovely to have you: parents, grandparents and, of course, children. The site is simple to use with no fiddly bits to make you cross!
You’ll probably want to find out what my Whatever Next, Grandma! books are about, and you can print off some fun activities. You may be interested in reading a little about me and my journey to writing these funny stories, and I couldn’t wait to tell you a few extra stories in Comedy Corner… mostly involving naughty pets. They really happened!
You can learn more about my illustrator Mike Phillips’s other work, and get in touch if you would like to send me an email, ask a question or send your own review of one of the books. I particularly love getting reviews from children. These can also be left on Amazon, or posted on Goodreads. As a new author I really do appreciate nice comments. They give me lots of encouragement!
All the books are available to buy on Amazon. IngramSpark will print-on-demand for retailers and libraries. Your 5 to 9 year-olds will enjoy watching me read ‘Grandma’s Jungle Adventure’.
My hope is that you will love reading about goofy Grandma and clever Gertrude the cat as much as I have loved writing about them.
‘Best for Christmas’ Primary Times Magazine 2021
I was delighted to be featured in Primary Times as a Christmas gift choice for primary aged children. ‘Grandma’s Christmas Surprise’ was a featured national competition in the magazine.
