Ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall? I lost count after, uh, well, let's just say 3,000.
You see, I've spent the past month going from bar to bar to bar to bar and taking notes on cocktail napkins.
Here are the findings: The After Dark Guide to Barland, featuring 100 places -- from martini lounges to dive bars to wine bars to corner joints. The list starts with my Top 10, followed by 90 other places listed alphabetically.
I stuck to places that are predominantly bars. Which excluded some great bars in clubs, like the Beachland Tavern or the Grog Shop or Nighttown. It also excluded some great places -- like Pier W or Blue Point Grille -- that are known more for being restaurants.
The guide starts with 100 bars. But it doesn't end there. We'll be updating and adding places online. If you have any suggestions, feel free -- I work for tips, too.
