Welcome to Our Farm
Star Route Farms began on five acres using horse-drawn sulky plows and cultivators and a lot of long-haired ambition. As pioneers in the then-fledgling organic industry, we adopted production and post-harvest technologies – such as precision planters and hydro cooling equipment, in order to ensure top-quality produce for the consumer. Star Route Farms is the oldest continuously certified organic row crop farm in California.
Who We Are
Founded by Warren and Marion Weber in 1974 and purchased by the University of San Francisco in August 2017, the farm is presently certified by Marin Organic Certified Agriculture (MOCA). Click below to learn more about the Star Route Farms team members and partners.
What We Do
We farm seasonally, harvesting and delivering our products six days a week. Our fine produce is available to restaurants and local area farmers markets year round. We farm over 40 acres in Bolinas. Over the winter months we plant 80 acres in the Coachella Valley of southern California.
