Sabine County will hold a public hearing at 5:05 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the Sabine County Courthouse, 201 Main Street, Hemphill, Texas regarding the submission of an application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for a Texas Community Development Block Grant Program (TxCDBG) grant.

Brazos Transit District provides rural transportation services in most of the DETCOG Region.  Brazos Transit is a Rural Transit District serving 20 counties, including 10 of the 11 DETCOG counties (Angelina, Houston, Nacogdoches, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Shelby, Trinity, and Tyler). 

 

Brazos Transit District currently provides fixed route transportation services in the City of Lufkin, City of Nacogdoches, and City of Diboll.  They also provide Demand and Response transportation services throughout Houston County, Polk County, San Jacinto County, and Trinity County.
