I love the hotel as always, but this time I have a small thing to complain about. There was a guy in the pool bar who brought his own speakers and playing his own (loud) music at the pool. He seemed to be well known and apparently all the staff was in agreement with it. Definitely not the experience that I expected

The location of the hotel and its views overlooking the Grand Mosque (Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque) is what makes this hotel unique. Magnificent rooms with breathtaking views of the creek and the mosque. Cleanliness is unbelievable, with a beautiful Arabian scent throughout the hotel, rooms, corridors, and lobbies. Customer service is impeccable from the moment we arrived until we departed. The reception is responsive, valet parking, concierge, and royal butler services are exceptional. The beds are super comfortable. Large, beautiful bathrooms with strong water pressure and luxurious shampoo. The food is out of this world. We opted for Gold lounge access for a premium fee, and we believe it's worth it. The quality of food and service is excellent. We have been coming to this hotel for over 13 years since it opened. We took a break over the last seven years and returned to be extremely pleased with the improved quality of accommodation. We were particularly pleased to see Mariamu promoted from a waitress in the Gold Lounge to a well-deserved Front Desk manager. She's a beautiful person who has always looked after us during our stays at the Fairmont. It's gratifying to see hardworking staff at the hotel recognized with promotions. she immediately recognised us as loyal guests and went out of her way to make us feel special and comfortable at the hotel. I would like to thank Quasi and Hassan, whose reception at check-in was wonderful, followed by recognition of our Accor Status and years of loyalty to the hotel, resulting in a wonderful room upgrade that we truly enjoyed. I would also like to recognize Paolo, Mark, Phoo, and Rony from the Gold Lounge, who were extremely professional and attentive at all times. They never failed us with anything. Thanks to the royal services team who organized bookings for us inside and outside the hotel and truly went out of their way to make us extremely happy. Special thanks to Mahesh from the pool area and his wonderful staff who were extremely pleasant and helpful, including lifeguards and wait staff. The pool and the beach are excellent. The amount of work the hotel teams did to clean up the recreational area after the storms/floods was outstanding. I'm sure if we were in any other country around the world, it would have taken weeks to clean up. Fairmont Bab Al Bahr took only one day to have everything operational and clean. We arrived on the day of the storm and left after 8 days. We did not feel that we wasted an hour as the whole stay was amazing. I would like to thank the valet and bell teams, always ready to help. They never cared about tips or anything of that sort. They were dedicated to service day in and day out. Wonderful and humble people. It definitely reaffirms the Arabian hospitality. This beautiful hotel is a reflection of great management. I would like congratulate the management and stress the importance of continuing to improve on your services. Regards, Shehabi
Staff very good and friendly… room was good but nowhere for all our clothes that needed to be hung up …. More for a young couple with shorts and tea shirts .. television situated was too far to be able to watch in bed … cuisine restaurant was not 5* imo … more of a 3* … food was always cold served on cold plates … so overall disappointed.
