No Regrets: The Best, Worst, & Most #$%*ing Ridiculous Tattoos Ever Paperback – May 20, 2008
They're all tattooed on someone's ass. Or face, or whatever. Remember that time you were wasted and thought it would be a good idea to get a tattoo on your leg of Maury Povich shaking hands with Sasquatch, but your friends talked you out of it at the last second? Well, some people don't have any friends...
Aviva Yael and P. M. Chen spent a year going to tattoo conventions and tattoo studios all over the country, chasing, stalking, e-mailing, calling, interviewing, ambushing, and hunting down whomever they could in order to find the most insane tattoos out there. What started out as a joke in a bar became a year-long tattoo safari that's presented here in all its full color, balls-to-the-wall, train-wreck/beauty-pageant glory.

Editorial Reviews
Review
"This book truly lives up to its title. It's a hilarious compendium of extraordinarily bad decisions that last FOREVER. If you ever thought of getting tattoo of a beef-chicken, Michael Moore, or an ejaculating penis, maybe after reading this book you'll think again. I laughed, I cried, I gawked. But mostly I just gawked and laughed. Actually I only gawked and laughed."―Michael Showalter, comedian
"These are the best tattoos I've ever seen. There's more creativity collected in this book than in an entire episode of Dancing with the Stars."―Nick Zarin-Ackerman, usician, The Virgins
"If you buy this book and have it lying around your dorm room, people will probably stop in, glance at it, and f**k you as a quick 'thanks' for sharing something so cool."―Eugene Mirman, comedian
"You should buy this book and then get a tattoo of it on yourself. Seriously. This book is hilarious!"―Demetri Martin, comedian, The Daily Show

I recommend this to someone that has a slightly twisted sense of humor. Bring it out when your hangin out drinkin. It is mainly a picture book.
20 minutes later I felt like I had just thrown $9.99 out the window and felt compelled to write my first ever book review on Amazon in order to prevent others from making the same mistake that I just did. The description, as well as some of the reviews, made me believe that what I was buying was a collection of tattoos and the stories behind them. What I got was a short intro, followed by a bunch of mixed quality images of tattoos with single line caption beneath them. Many of these images are available on the web I had already come across them. I have honestly written blog posts about tattoos with more content than this so-called "book" and I'm not charging money for people to read them. There are plenty of free websites out there with a higher quantity and quality of bad tattoo photos.
The author claims to have spent a full year traveling to tattoo shops and conventions, emailing and interviewing to find these tattoos. Where is the evidence of a single interview? All I see is pictures and captions that could have been made up without ever speaking to the person with the tattoo.
I regret buying this book more than I regret any of my tattoos. Save your money and tip your tattoo artist an extra $10 next time you get inked.
