What a lovely Thursday evening at Five Bistro! We had a reservation at 6pm to celebrate a birthday. A few members of our group arrived early around 5:30pm and leisurely enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the bar. The bartender even gave us a glimpse into next month's special drink-- featuring grapefruit, ginger, and tequila! We enjoyed the baked goat cheese with crostinis, and especially liked the olive tapenade it came with. Order extra crostini to maximize goat cheese use!
Around 5:50pm, we were seated at our table on the outdoor patio where we stayed warm by the tabletop fire. For dinner, we ordered 3 large pizzas (Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, & Kale) and a large Caesar salad to share between our group of 4 people. Everything was delicious, especially with the chili oil on our pizza crusts. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and Five continues to be an Edmonds favorite!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 4, 2023
Five Restaurant Bistro is my go-to for outdoor dining. I like how its enclosed but still has plenty of fresh hair. Whether rain or sun, summer or winter they've had their patio consistently open and quite comfortable. Once during a chilly month when it was slow they allowed me to sit at one of their firepit tables and that was awesome!
I am addicted to their pizzas. The small is too small for an entree but could make for a good appetizer. Their large is very filling, but I never find it too much food. I like how soft the crust is with just a little salt to make it delectable. It never seems too greasy and is always a delight.
Their cocktails are also always on point. There's a wide variety of different types from spirit forward to light and refreshing. I really like that they typically have a special cocktail as well each month. It adds to the variety.
The service has always been solid. Some of the servers are very enthusiastic and charming while others are more politely professional. This is not a fast restaurant. I've never been out of here less than 90 minutes, but I love it for visiting with friends. Because the flip side is I never feel rushed either!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 7, 2024
One of our favorite date night places. The food is phenomenal, and their drinks are super delicious! The staff is very friendly and attentive, as well! I'd highly recommend this place, and would also recommend you get the pizza and add the spicy oil on top of it!

You know this place is good when it's busy on a random Tuesday night. Service was veryyyyyyy slow but I think they didn't expect the turnout. My friend went back the next night and said the service was good, and he got chili oil with his pizza that time and we did not :( ANYWAYS
The special pickle pizza was so freaking good. I would come back just for this.
Caesar salad was also good and the prosciutto were good but nothing to rave about.
BUT the calamari, I have never liked calamari unless it's fried but man this one was sooooooo good. The sauce, the added crunch from the nuts, it can't be beat. My friend liked it so much he came back the next day with his mom!
Overall, a fun spot with delicious food. A cute interior and nice spacious patio. Parking can get a bit tight though on a busy night, not sure where you would park otherwise, and just beware of slow service if they are packed! Even just getting waters and such and no chili oil :( lolHelpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - 925112814749Nov 14, 2023
We go here for date night. I mean, it's swanky but still affordable. And they do such a good job. Great service and attention to detail. We even brought the kids once or twice and they were very accommodating with a wonderful kids menu. The specials are terrific. The whole menu is fantastic.

My sister had been in a few times and wanted to share this gem with the rest of the family. It's a smaller restaurant and the parking is a little tight but it has nice ambiance.
We came in on a weekday and it wasn't that busy but the service was a little slow. We tried the pizza, amazing Caesar, clams and rhubarb dessert - all were delicious. The prices are similar to anywhere else. I definitely want to come back and try the pasta.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 5, 2024
Went with a group of six so got to try a lot of things. My favorite appetizer was by far the calamari. It was fantastic. Not your typical breaded with a heavy sauce but it was fresh and light with an incredible glaze/sauce to it. For the main I got the pear ravioli. The creamy sauce with the pasta was sweet and tangy and delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the stuffing for the raviolis was cheesy and paired excellently with the sauce. My girlfriend got the creamy poblano soup. It was a very light but tasty soup. It had the amazing taste of pepper but not the spice. I really enjoyed all the dishes I ordered and on top of the amazing food the service was also top notch. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good dinner out.

Back again! I've never had anything I didn't like from here. This time I tried the prosciutto and arugula pizza, which was served with a bottle of house-made chili oil, both were great. The crust on the pizza was cheesy perfection, plus a generous serving of prosciutto and arugula on top, which has come to be my favorite pizza toppings!
I did want to try the pickle pizza, which I've had from somewhere else before and liked, but I know that Five would make an excellent rendition of it. I also tried the pear ravioli and holy smokes that was amazing! If I hadn't have been full off the pizza I would have added an order of that to eat.
We also tried the peach and berry crumble with ice cream, and it was warm, fruity perfection - are you surprised?Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1Apr 26, 2022Previous reviewSome friends and I stopped in and ordered a smattering of dishes, including the Seafood Linguini, Pear Ravioli, French Cut Pork Chop, Rigatoni, Clams and Mussels, salad, and drinks to go alongside the food.
Everything was delicious! I tried the Seafood Linguini, pork chop, and pear ravioli, and I think my favorite was the linguini - you can choose a spice level for the pasta dishes so I went with the spiciest option, which added a nice kick to what I normally can't finish due to the richness of a cream-based sauce (especially the linguini, which I'd say was my favorite of all the dishes we had). The seafood was great, save for a couple clams that didn't open, and the sauce was flavorful, spicy, and not heavy, which is the perfect combo for me.
The pork chop was also very juicy and tender, though there was nothing spectacular about the mashed potatoes it's served with. Don't get me started on a very vinegary mushroom that was way too tart for me. The pear ravioli was also quite good, so if you're wanting something unique, then give it a try before it disappears off the menu as it appears to be a seasonal special.
I would definitely be back to get the linguini again - it was the highlight of the meal for me! - 305123720Jan 5, 2024

This was a decent place to eat. I won't say what has already been said multiple times before.
The food was 4 stars. Toppings on my pizza were creative and delicious, however they were pretty skimpy. The pizzas are an odd size - a little too much for one person and not enough for two.
Prices are on the high end.
Service was great but the restaurant itself is small and it can feel pretty cramped, especially siting at a small table in the middle of the restaurant.
All told, I would stop in again but I don't think there is a lot of value in their portions sizes when compared to the prices they charge.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
