  • Travis Glover 2005 OT
Packers' Travis Glover: Brings versatility to Green Bay
    3m ago

The Packers selected Glover in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 202nd overall.

Glover brings versatility to the Packers' offensive line after playing right tackle, left tackle and left guard at various points in five seasons with Georgia State. He's been knocked for a lack of athleticism but boasts good size (6-foot-6, 317 pounds) and power. While Green Bay will hope he's not on the field regularly early in his career, Glover has the potential to fill a valuable depth role for the team.

    7m ago

The Vikings selected Reichard in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 203rd overall.

Reichard is the NCAA's all-time leading points scorer (547). At Alabama, Reichard converted 274 of 275 extra points and had an 86 percent field goal success rate. Placekicking duties should be his in Minnesota.

Panthers' Jaden Crumedy: Selected by Carolina in Round 6
    8m ago

The Panthers selected Crumedy in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 200th overall.

Crumedy might be a lowly sixth-round pick, but the Mississippi State product still looks like a good selection for Carolina. Crumedy was a five-year starter as a six-year player in college, and at 6-foot-4, 301 pounds he demonstrated burst and speed that should fit well on passing downs if nothing else (4.97-second 40-yard dash). Worse prospects have turned out to be viable starting defensive tackles in the NFL.

  • Patrick McMorris 2005 S
Dolphins' Patrick McMorris: Provides needed depth in Miami
    13m ago

The Dolphins selected McMorris in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 198th overall.

McMorris brings plenty of production to the Miami secondary, as he was an all-conference performer in the Mountain West with San Diego State for much of his collegiate career. He transferred to Cal for his final year of eligibility and immediately stepped in to lead the team in pass breakups. McMorris has the physicality to play safety in the pros, but he lacks explosiveness (sixth percentile broad jump, fifth percentile vertical jump) which limits his upside. The Dolphins had only three safeties on the roster entering the draft, so McMorris should have a chance to make the team with a decent performance in training camp.

Rams' Tyler Davis: Los Angeles grabs in sixth round
    15m ago

The Rams selected Davis in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 196th overall.

Davis was a five-year starter at Clemson, thus setting the Clemson record for the most career starts for a defender, so that's a very impressive detail despite Davis' modest draft stock. It's almost as if Davis played so long at Clemson that evaluators became bored, because even if he's just a rotational player at the NFL level he still logged a high number of quality reps at Clemson, and at 6-foot-2, 301 pounds he posted good athletic metrics at the NFL Combine (5.02-second 40-yard dash, 108-inch broad jump). Davis should be able to make the Rams roster.

The Saints selected Boyd in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 199th overall.

Boyd comes to the Big Easy from Northern Iowa. He is the elder statesman of the Saints draft class at 24 years old with a college career that started in 2018. He is stout at 6-foot-2 and 329 pounds and profiles as a space-eater in the trenches.

Patriots' Joe Milton: Tough fantasy landing spot in NE
    28m ago

The Patriots selected Milton in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 193rd overall.

The Packers often would take quarterbacks scattered throughout Day 3 of drafts during Eliot Wolf's time with the organization, but after taking Drake Maye No. 3 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, it's probably a silly endeavor to add Milton to the mix, especially given his clearly unrefined tools. The Tennessee quarterback predictably wowed folks with a bazooka of an arm during throwing drills at the NFL Combine and ran a respectable 4.62 at 6-foot-5, 246 pounds, but he only managed to carve out a starting spot in his sixth collegiate season, and even then failed to put up eye-popping stats in an offense that nearly saw Hendon Hooker garner Heisman honors the year prior. Milton is the definition of a project at the quarterback position, and even if that paid off, it would come at the expense of the team's supposed blue chipper of the new post-Bill Belichick regime.

  • Jordan Travis NYJ QB
Jets' Jordan Travis: Lands with Jets
    2h ago

The Jets selected Travis in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 171st overall.

If not for a severe leg injury suffered late in his senior year, Travis may have heard his name called much earlier than the end of the fifth. He was a dynamic, longtime starter at Florida State who progressed each season. He never threw more than six interceptions in any season and left Tallahassee with 65 passing touchdowns in 42 games. He had strong rushing ability that will hopefully return when he's recovered, rushing for 1,682 yards and 28 touchdowns. Tyrod Taylor gives the Jets immediate cover if Aaron Rodgers is to miss any time, but Travis projects as an eventual backup with little likelihood to become a starter.

  • Spencer Rattler NO QB
Saints' Spencer Rattler: Slide ended by New Orleans
    3h ago

The Saints selected Rattler in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 150th overall.

Rattler entered college as an elite prospect with Oklahoma but was displaced as the starter after 15 games by Caleb Williams. Rattler finished out his collegiate career with South Carolina and rehabilitated his draft stock a bit in his final year by posting a 19:8 TD:INT with 3,186 passing yards. He's trended in the wrong direction since leaving high school and slipped even further than anticipated in the draft, though his landing spot should give him the chance to immediately claim the backup job behind Derek Carr.

Bears' Tyson Bagent: Tracking to be Chicago's QB2
    23h ago

Following the selection of No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams, Bagent is viewed as the favorite to open the season as the Bears' primary backup quarterback, USA Today's Vincent Parise reports.

With Justin Fields traded to the Steelers earlier in the offseason, it leaves Bagent and Brett Rypien behind Williams. There's a chance Chicago adds an experienced veteran to what is currently a pretty young quarterback room, but Bagent showed well enough as a rookie last year to enter 2024 with a chance to claim backup duties. Bagent went 2-2 in four games as a starter, completing 65.7 percent of his passes for 859 yards, three touchdowns and six interceptions and adding 109 rushing yards and two additional scores on 23 attempts.

  • Kirk Cousins ATL QB
Falcons' Kirk Cousins: Joined by first-round rookie QB
    1d ago

Cousins (Achilles), who signed a four-year deal with Atlanta in March, is slated to be joined in the team's QB corps by Michael Penix, who was taken with the No. 8 overall pick in Thursday's NFL draft, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.

Despite the franchise's surprising decision to select Penix, Cousins, who is rebounding from an Achilles tear that he sustained Oct. 29, remains locked in as the Falcons' No. 1 QB for the foreseeable future. Regarding that topic, GM Terry Fontenot noted Thursday, "Kirk Cousins is our quarterback. We're very excited about Kirk, very excited about this team. (With) Michael Penix we're talking about the future. The draft is you look at the future and you look at big picture." In terms of his injury recovery, Cousins relayed last month that he's progressing well and is "optimistic that (he) can be full speed at practice before (the Falcons) break for the summer." In any case, barring any setbacks, Cousins -- who turns 36 in August -- is entrenched atop Atlanta's depth chart, with Penix providing the team with both an insurance policy for the veteran signal-caller, as well as a potential successor down the road.

Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: Set to compete with Maye
    1d ago

Brissett is in line to compete with newcomer Drake Maye for the Patriots' starting QB job ahead of the upcoming NFL season, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports.

Given that New England selected Maye with the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, it's only a matter of time before the North Carolina product is installed as the team's starter. That said, it's possible that the rookie begins the season as Brissett's understudy, with coach Jerod Mayo noting Thursday of the Patriots' signal-caller situation that "at the end of the day, our philosophy is the best players will play. We will compete and the best player will start." Brissett rejoined the franchise that drafted him in 2016 on a reported one-year, $8 million deal, providing New England with an experienced option who can either helm the offense until Maye is deemed ready to do so, or alternatively serve as quality backup and mentor to Maye, who doesn't turn 22 until Aug. 30. Meanwhile, 2022 fourth-rounder Bailey Zappe and Nathan Rourke are also on hand to provide the Patriots with QB depth ahead of training camp.

Falcons' Jase McClellan: Curious fit in Atlanta
    42m ago

The Falcons selected McClellan in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 186th overall.

Like many Alabama backs, McClellan had to wait his turn before becoming the lead runner. He got the chance in 2023 and averaged 4.9 yards per carry, illustrating a relative lack of explosiveness. McClellan's draft stock took another hit as he ended the season with a foot injury, which prevented him from working out at either the NFL Combine or Alabama's Pro Day. He also isn't likely to see the field much in the short term with Atlanta, as the team already boasts Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier as options in the backfield.

  • Kimani Vidal LAC RB
Chargers' Kimani Vidal: Tremendous landing spot with Bolts
    1h ago

The Chargers selected Vidal in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 181st overall.

After a litany of RBs went off the board in both the fourth and fifth round, Vidal represents one of the few remaining backs capable of carving out a sizable role in an offense, and he couldn't have landed in a better situation than Los Angeles. While both Gus Edwards, and J.K. Dobbins (knee) if healthy, are a more reliable duo, Vidal was a true workhorse for Troy over the past three seasons registering over 3,500 rushing yards including a Sun Belt leading 1,661 last season. At 5-foot-8, 213 pounds Vidal's stout frame and supreme balance mask what was a fine, but not stellar 4.46 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. The 22-year-old doesn't have the prospect profile of someone like Isaiah Spiller, but it'd be a surprise at this point if Vidal doesn't at minimum push for one of the final roster spots, and possibly replace the disappointing 2022 fourth-round pick down the road.

  • Isaiah Davis 2005 RB
Jets' Isaiah Davis: Another back behind Hall
    1h ago

The Jets selected Davis in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 173rd overall.

Davis becomes the second running back drafted by the Jets during Day 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft and joins presumed top backup, Israel Abanikanda as the second running back drafted by the team in the fifth round in consecutive years. Davis was the catalyst for South Dakota State's back-to-back national championship stretch tallying almost 3,000 combined yards on the ground and 33 touchdowns over the past two seasons. He doesn't provide much in the passing game and it's unclear if his 4.57 speed will translate to the NFL level, but the 22-year-old is at least an intriguing candidate to push for snaps in a loaded Jets backfield.

  • Keilan Robinson JAC RB
    Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Duval bound
    2h ago

The Jaguars selected Robinson in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 167th overall.

Robinson never got his chance to shine as a running back in college whether it was at Alabama or Texas, as he was stuck behind the likes of Najee Harris, Bijan Robinson or Jonathon Brooks. He had just 82 career carries for 542 yards and six touchdowns to go with 35 grabs for 332 yards and three scores on 43 targets. That's solid efficiency, but there's no proof that it will hold up over a bigger sample. Where Robinson shines is in the return game, and that will likely be his meal ticket in Jacksonville, especially with the new return rules. Robinson ran a kick back for a touchdown in 2023 and was clocked with a 4.42 in the 40 at the combine. He's unlikely to be much of a fantasy factor barring significant attrition in the Jags' backfield. And the addition of Devin Duvernay this offseason complicates his path to being used in the return game.

  • Rasheen Ali BAL RB
Ravens' Rasheen Ali: Joins Baltimore backfield
    2h ago

The Ravens selected Ali (biceps) in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 165th overall.

Ali is an intriguing prospect, as he had multiple 1,000-yard seasons with Marshall including freshman All-American honors back in 2021 following a season in which he compiled 1,742 total yards and 24 touchdowns. Sandwiched between the 1,000-yard campaigns, Ali missed 10 games after injuring his MCL during the 2022 campaign and also injured his biceps during the Senior Bowl, thus forcing him to miss all the subsequent pre-draft testing. It's hard to compile the type of numbers Ali did even in a lesser competitive landscape as a "poor" athlete, which means the Ravens might have struck gold yet again on an electric backfield option in the later rounds.

  • Audric Estime DEN RB
Broncos' Audric Estime: More power in Denver backfield
    3h ago

The Broncos selected Estime in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 147th overall.

Estime is a load to bring down at 5-foot-11 and 221 pounds with a powerful anchor and physical running style. He played sparingly as a freshman before having his role expand in 2022 with 156 carries for 920 yards (5.9 YPC) and 11 scores. Estime truly took off as the starter in 2023 though, racking up 1,341 yards and 18 touchdowns on 210 carries (6.4 YPC). He was still available at this stage after posting a 4.71 in the 40 at the combine, but Estime has the skill and power to be an asset in the Broncos backfield eventually. Javonte Williams is still the starter and Estime is a bit redundant to him in terms of play style, plus the rookie lacks the pass-catching chops to carve out an alternative type of role. Samaje Perine is still on the roster for now and Jaleel McLaughlin impressed as a rookie, so while Estime is a nice addition for Denver, the Notre Dame product's fantasy projection is murky for 2024.

Falcons' Casey Washington: Lands with Atlanta in Round 6
    1h ago

The Falcons selected Washington in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 187th overall.

Atlanta double-dipped on skill position depth in the sixth round, taking Alabama running back Jase McClellan and Illinois' Washington with back-to-back picks. Washington was not a lock to be drafted and did not receive a combine invite. An older prospect at 23 years old, did not have a receiving touchdown until his fifth year in college. At his pro day, he ran a 4.46 in the 40 and had a strong 39.5-inch vertical jump. Washington does not have an obvious top-end trait that would portend a starting role in the NFL.

Eagles' Johnny Wilson: Joins loaded group of Philly WRs

The Eagles selected Wilson in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 185th overall.

It's not hard to envision how the 6-foot-6, 231-pound pass catcher could make a difference at the NFL level, but the intimidating measurables are offset by unreliable hands (15 career drops), lethargic route running and difficulties revving up his speed both out of routes and after the catch. It's possible Wilson could eventually transition to tight end at some point in his career, but for now he joins a loaded Eagles receiving corps as a pure jump-ball specialist that may struggle to crack the 53-man roster.

Dolphins' Malik Washington: Miami scoops wideout in Round 6
    1h ago

The Dolphins selected Washington in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 184th overall.

Washington was expected to go a good two rounds earlier than this, so the former Virginia and Northwestern standout could prove to be a nice pick for the Dolphins this late. Washington doesn't look like your typical coach Mike McDaniel wideout at 5-foot-9, 191 pounds, and he lacks the lateral dynamism of wideouts like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, but it seems like Washington should be able to assist the Dolphins offense if only in a small role. More specifically, at his height Washington is likely somewhat slot dependent, and unlike most slot wideouts he's more explosive vertically than laterally. With a 4.47-second 40-yard dash and standout hands there should be enough here for McDaniel to figure something out, just perhaps never in a starting role.

Titans' Jha'Quan Jackson: Provides pass-catching depth in TEN
    1h ago

The Titans selected Jackson in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 182nd overall.

Tennessee revamped its wide receiver corps this offseason with the addition of Calvin Ridley, who will pair with DeAndre Hopkins to dominate targets. After that duo, things are a bit murky, but Jackson isn't particularly likely to fill the void. He's undersized and not impressive athletically -- aside from his 4.42 40-yard dash time -- which limited him to the slot while at Tulane. He could be competing with Kyle Philips for a roster spot in training camp, as the duo overlap both in their role as slot receiver and also as an option to return punts.

Saints' Bub Means: Heads to New Orleans
    1h ago

The Saints selected Means in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 170th overall.

Means took awhile to settle into a program during his collegiate career, but things came together in his final two seasons of eligibility with Pitt. He turned in 41 receptions for 721 yards and six touchdowns in his senior season, though that production came when he was 22 years old. Means is a lengthy receiver (86th percentile wingspan) with plenty of size (212 pounds), making him an interesting player in contested catch situations by the goal line. He also lands in a decent situation, as the Saints lack reliable pass catchers behind Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed.

Browns' Jamari Thrash: Cleveland ends slide in fifth round
    2h ago

The Browns selected Thrash in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 156th overall.

Thrash (6-feet, 188 pounds) is a graceful wideout with good speed (4.46-second 40-yard dash) and was productive enough at Louisville and Georgia State for people to suspect he has real skill as a wideout. The problem for his pro projection is that Thrash looks and plays like a featherweight, meaning his otherwise graceful route running is liable to get knocked off course. Similarly, Thrash is unlikely to hold up well at the catch point if it's in the middle of traffic. Thrash might be something like Nelson Agholor at the NFL level -- a wideout ideally used situationally and one at his best when the field is wide open.

McLachlan marks the second tight end to land in Cincinnati during the draft, as the team also selected Eric All in the fourth round. McLachlan was a strong receiving weapon with Arizona throughout his collegiate career, as he racked up a combined 79 receptions for 984 yards and six touchdowns across his final 25 games. While those numbers are promising, he will need to improve as a blocker to find the field regularly.

Travis Kelce isn't going anywhere, but it makes sense for the Chiefs to add some depth behind the 34-year-old future Hall of Famer. Wiley was blocked from being a factor at Texas by fellow draftee Ja'Tavion Sanders. However, the former's transfer to TCU in 2022 put him on the map. Wiley caught four touchdowns that season, then got more involved as a senior with 47 grabs for 520 yards and eight scores. He has good speed (4.62) for his size (6-foot-6) and will be able to develop behind one of the best to ever do it. Dynasty players should note that Wiley will turn 24 as a rookie, however.

Texans' Cade Stover: Reuinites with Stroud in Houston
    4h ago

The Texans selected Stover in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 123rd overall.

Stover is a solid tight end prospect who established himself as a reliable target in the Ohio State offense over the years despite the Buckeyes having elite star power at receiver. He started all but one game over his final two seasons in Columbus and racked up 77 catches for 982 yards on 101 targets to go with 10 touchdowns. Stover is more pass catcher than blocker, which helps his fantasy appeal. However, the landing spot is tricky for him with Dalton Schultz under contract and Brevin Jordan beginning to break out. It may take some time for Stover to carve out a role in H-Town but the talent is there.

Barner tallied just 64 receptions, 610 yards and five touchdowns across 20 collegiate starts with both Indiana and Michigan over his four seasons, but it's fair to dream about what the tantalizing 6-foot-6 frame coupled with the tight end crop's largest wingspan could do as a pass catcher at the NFL level. Barner is a bit lean (251 pounds) for his height and didn't showcase the type of wild athleticism that so many of his peers did at the NFL Combine, but the Big Ten pedigree will always attract a certain organizational philosophy regardless if the production is there. Expect Barner to compete with a number of veteran flotsam for the No. 2 TE job behind the newly re-signed Noah Fant.

Bengals' Erick All: Added to Cincy's TE corps
    4h ago

The Bengals selected All in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 115th overall.

Despite tearing his ACL mid-way through his senior season, All still became the sixth tight end off the board in this year's draft. All actually led Iowa in receiving yards (299) and touchdowns (3) in 2023 despite missing half the year, but that may be more of an indictment on the Iowa offense. The injury prevented All from testing at the combine or his pro day, and his lengthy injury history -- including spinal surgery in 2022 -- is a concern. However, All's numbers when healthy were always impressive dating back to his time at Michigan. Cincinnati has an interesting tight end room that lacks star power, so if he is 100 percent at some point in 2024, All could get onto the field.

Giants' Theo Johnson: Needed tight end depth for NYG
    5h ago

The Giants selected Johnson in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 107th overall.

With Darren Waller's status for the upcoming season up in the air, targeting tight end made sense for the Giants. Johnson is one of the most athletic tight end prospects in this class with 4.57 speed on a 6-foot-6, 259-pound frame. His combine workout firmly put him in the top five at the position. However, when scouts see those types of workout numbers, they wonder why the on-field production wasn't better. Johnson topped out at 34 catches for 341 yards as a senior, though seven of those catches went for touchdowns. His YPT mark lagged behind, though, checking in at 6.4 in 2023. If Johnson can maximize his tools, he can be an asset in the Giants passing game. If Waller does retire this offseason, Johnson should be on the fantasy radar. However, fantasy managers shouldn't forget the presence of 2022 fourth-rounder Daniel Bellinger as a contender for the starting role.

The difference is that McManus figures to essentially be handed a starting job, whereas Slye is less proven and may have to compete with reserve/future signee Riley Patterson. Slye's career field-goal percentage (82.3) and PAT percentage (88.5) both are subpar by modern standards, though he does have a strong leg and has made 20 of 32 tries from 50-plus yards in his career.

Steelers' Ryan Watts: Corner help added in Pittsburgh
    28m ago

The Steelers selected Watts in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 195th overall.

Watts is a rangy corner at just under 6-foot-3 with 34.5-inch arms. He started his career at Ohio State before transferring to his native state of Texas where he attended UT-Austin and started for two seasons. He ran a 4.53 in the 40 at the combine and while his frame is interesting for a corner, being that upright can be a detriment without the requisite make-up speed. If nothing else, Watts helps a cornerback room that needed some help behind Joey Porter and Donte Jackson. There is some thought that if he doesn't stick at corner, Watts could move to safety.

Seahawks' D.J. James: Seattle ends tumble in Round 6
    30m ago

The Seahawks selected James in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 192nd overall.

By selecting James the Seahawks reunite him with fellow corner and former Auburn teammate Nehemiah Pritchett, who Seattle selected in the fifth round. Whereas Pritchett is a typical Seattle-style boundary corner (taller, longer arms, fast), James is very much not a typical Seattle corner. That's because James is rail-thin by cornerback standards (6-feet, 175 pounds) and has short arms (31 inches), two details that make James a poor fit for the press coverage Seattle is known for. James was an effective starter for Auburn and has plenty of speed to work with (4.42-second 40-yard dash), and apparently that was enough for Seattle, especially so late in the draft.

Texans' Jamal Hill: Picked by Houston in Round 6
    41m ago

The Texans selected Hill in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 188th overall.

Hill was not expected to be drafted after he bounced between safety and linebacker while struggling to earn playing time at Oregon, even as a former top recruit. The Texans could value Hill for his special teams potential, or perhaps head coach and former linebacker DeMeco Ryans suspects he can mold Hill's tools into something useful at linebacker. At the very least Hill has athleticism to work with, boasting a 4.46-second 40-yard dash at 6-feet, 216 pounds.

Giants' Darius Muasau: Big Apple bound in Round 6
    1h ago

The Giants selected Muasau in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 183rd overall.

Muasau began his college career at Hawaii before transferring to UCLA for this final two seasons. He started all 26 times during his time as a Bruin, racking up 166 tackles in those campaigns. He's undersized at just under 6-foot and 225 pounds but he has 4.70 speed to hunt down ball-carriers. Muasau projects as a depth piece behind Bobby Okereke and Micah McFadden in the middle of the Giants' linebacking corps.

Patriots' Marcellas Dial: New England lands in sixth round
    1h ago

The Patriots selected Dial in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 180th overall.

Dial didn't have much hype as a prospect but he's a three-year starter from a strong South Carolina pass defense and at 6-feet, 190 pounds he has very good athletic traits. Dial's 4.47-second 40-yard dash is solid but when you account for his reach (32-inch arms) and jumps (40.5-inch vertical, 129-inch broad jump) it's clear that Dial is one of the toolsiest corners in the draft. The Patriots will hope to refine those tools and presumably look to turn Dial into a press-heavy corner on the boundary.
