During this special event for World Book Day 2024, we invited 2 poets into Smithills to work with our pupils on their creative writing skills. Cherelle Anne is a poet and multi-disciplinary artist from Manchester. Caesar is a spoken word artist from Bolton. We thank both Cherelle Anne and Caesar for taking the time to work with our pupils today.

Wow, what a busy week we have had in Careers this last week with Year 10 Work Experience, 180 pupils on Work Experience, 14 pupils on a Work Ready Programme and 50 pupils attended school workshops - coordinated by Mrs Bennett our careers leader.
