ASHGI is dedicated to Australian Shepherds and the people who love them. We provide programs and information to address the inherited diseases from which the breed sometimes suffers. We envision serving all Aussies, no matter what their purpose, the goals of their owners, or where they live. ASHGI will work both independently and in cooperation with researchers, breed clubs, canine health organizations and foundations that provide grant funds for canine genetics research.
As announced a year ago, ASHGI is shutting down. All programs have already been terminated but the informational content (articles and FAQs) will remain for the time being. Articles will ultimately be transferred to a website CA Sharp will be setting up for her writing. An announcement will be made via our Facebok page when that time comes. We will also post the final shut-down date for ahsgi.org here.
