Happy New Year!!! We hope you and your family had a safe and fun filled holiday season! Four Down had a great balance of holiday cheer and ‘rock-star’ fun this season, culminating with our New Year’s Eve show at Savannah’s Dublin Underground with Q103FM. The night started early with Q103FM’s ‘New Years Eve Pajama Party’ with the audience sporting everything from the funny to the risqué . By 11:30pm the club was filling up and hitting full party mode.
We decided to end the year with a bang, by unleashing one of our newest covers- Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ as our last song of 2011. It was a crowd chanting, fist pumping success- a very exciting end to the year… To follow suit, we also kicked off the new year with a big new debut- Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’– Four Down’d into a high energy rock anthem. The audience was boppin’ and singing along and you could see random people emulating their favorite MJ moves on the dance floor. The mood was set, the party was on and it was a great first show of 2012!!! Check out some of the great pics of the night courtesy of Meredith on Facebook at www.facebook.com/fourdowntheband . We want to say a GIANT thank you to all of our friends and the entire staff of Savannah’s for a great night and another HUGE thank you to all of our fans, friends and venue staff for making Four Down’s first year a complete success !
As Four Down’s sophomore year kicks off, we’re excited for our first full show of 2012. We’re hopping in the 4Down rig and heading up the Northway to Plattsburgh, NY for our 2nd show at Olive Ridley’s. Plattsburgh is a town that knows how to party and our first show at Ridley’s (Oct 8, 2011) was a huge success. Wanna see a little bit of what we’re talking about? Check out this newly posted clip of us performing the Beastie Boy’s ‘No Sleep Till Brooklyn’ on YouTube that night. The camera angle is a little too high to catch all of the people on the dance floor, but you’ve got to check out the guy in the front slamming 2 beers at once while Justin rips up his solo- CLASSIC!
