My friend came here for an early dinner. The restaurant had just closed their buffet service when arrived, which actually looked pretty decent. The space was nice ...

I ordered the Double Cut Pork Chop, which was served with salad and 1 side, which was a happy surprise. I chose Tostones. The Pork Chop was thick, delightfully juicy, succulent and well seasoned. It came with sweet plantain puree in a green apple sauce & chimichurri, which was wonderfully flavorful. The salad was fresh and crunchy. Tostones were oh so crispy, tender, and made even tastier with the strong garlic sauce. I also got to try the Maduros, which were made well. They were sweet, soft, and slightly charred.

Service was good. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. Prices were not too bad, especially considering the Midtown area. I would return at an earlier time to try the buffet.

Came to this place for brunch based on their IG and was super excited to try it and it did not live up to the expectations. We got there for reservations at 130pm which didn't even need or was checked. There were three other tables with people besides that the whole time the place was very empty. Our waitress was OK not as attentive but decent. Food wise our food had good flavor and the options for brunch were good along with the 1.5 of unlimited sangria. Not a bad deal but The sangria tasted like a box wine with little fruit in it.
As far as what we ordered our meal was suppose to come with arroz con gandulees and it came out with potatoes when we told the waitress she pulled out the menu and showed it it said "Moro" and that was what we got which was not. At the end they fixed it but it took forever and our food got cold.
Music was good with the DJ. We thought it was a bachata brunch which is why we went and not one song was played of it but we still enjoyed the music. Overall I don't think I would be back for a brunch.

My coworkers put me on to the buffet style lunch special, all you can eat for 19.95. Staples like chicken chunks, steak with onions and fried fish abound with some vegan options to boot, can't beat the deal. And I'm fat so I'm taking that ten out of ten times.

I wasn't going to do this but some 5 hours later I'm still throughly annoyed by the terrible experience I had at this establishment.

Atmosphere/lighting: less than inviting. Why does it feel like it's midnight at 1pm on a Sunday?

Food: Meh at best. I think the only thing I liked was my appetizer but it quickly went downhill from there. Most notably bland rice and the worst looking dessert ever. Flan does not need to be covered in Hershey chocolate syrup. Which stained my daughter's pants upon delivery to the table. Great! Not

Service: I could write a dissertation. I am both a former server and cook. I should not have to chase you in an empty restaurant to get my check. Also DO NOT tell me what to tip. There were 3 of us for brunch. Nah. Also, it was NOT bottomless. We had two drinks. Our group was poorly attended to.

Note for the reader: Save your money. Go somewhere else.

So many other good places in NYC.
I can't see how this one stays open.
Good luck with all of that.

Came here with my friend for a quick dinner date. Ordered the fried chicken chunks appetizer & dinner to go . Food was good , however the chicken, I ordered to take home were fried a little too hard. Had a passion fruit juice which tasted watery. I love passion fruit juice & this was not it. My friend liked her food , drinks & hookah . Staff was pleasant & food came out at a good time .

10/10 everytime!!! Hookah is always on point so 15/10. This has been a go to spot since 2019 and I always highly recommend to any one new or already familiar to the city.
