such a sense of relief than the one he earned during Wednesday

have endured into the 11th race of the season in both 2013 and

USAC)Brady Bacon left the Belleville
(Kan.) High Banks a USAC Silver Crown winner one year ago. On
Friday night, he and his Chris Dyson Racing No. 9 showed that
they’re still the ones to beat at the 1/2-mile dirt oval in

Friday’s USAC Silver Crown practice at Belleville, which served
as the final tune-up for teams and drivers before the 50-lap
Huncovsky Classic main event set for Saturday night, May 18.

victory in September of 2022, McIntosh returned to glory on the
1/4-mile dirt oval, grabbing the lead from his outside front row
starting position, then dominating the 30-lap distance from
start to finish.USAC 5/18 -

Xtreme Outlaw)One year after losing out
on victory at 81 Speedway, Cannon McIntosh has found redemption
and his second win of the season with the Xtreme Outlaw Midget
Series presented by Toyota. McIntosh – 21, of Bixby,
OK – led several laps of the Feature during the Series debut at
the 3/8-mile oval in 2023 but ultimately came up one spot short,
giving up the lead in the final laps. Fast forward a full
calendar year to Saturday night, and the story ended far more
different.

USAC)Throughout the past decade,
competitors and fans alike have become accustomed to witnessing
the Rock Steady Racing number 3R perform its magic during the
Spring Showdown at Haubstadt, Indiana’s Tri-State Speedway.
First there was Hunter Schuerenberg in 2012, then Daron Clayton
in 2014, and later on, Kyle Cummins did the deed in 2021. At
Saturday night’s 11th running of the event on the 1/4-mile dirt
oval, it was the team’s newest driver, Kevin Thomas Jr., who
sealed the deal to become the fourth different driver from the
team’s stable to capture a Spring Showdown victory. USAC5/11
