Engineering Office is on the second floor in room 208, along with Mapping
Emergency Management Office is on the second floor in room 208
The other offices are in the same location as before.
Venture Corporation plans to begin work on the NE 30 Road asphalt resurfacing project on Friday, May 17th. The project extends from US-281 highway east to NE 30 Avenue. The project involves the placement of a hot mix asphalt overlay followed by rock edge wedges and pavement striping. Work is expected to be completed in around two weeks. Traffic will be guided through the construction zone with the use of flaggers and a pilot car during the day, and there may be delays of up to 15 minutes in the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to the construction workers and equipment.
The Barton County Commission held a special meeting this morning to consider the changes recommended for the Barton County Zoning Regulations, Version II as received from the Barton County Planning Commission Board as they pertain to Solar Energy Conversion Systems (SECS) and the future development of Large Scale Non-Commercial SECS or Commercial Scale SECS in Barton County: This will affect Article III – District Regulations, Article VIII-B SECS and the Official Zoning Map.
