Avelo Airlines Celebrates Third Anniversary
Avelo Airlines is celebrating the third anniversary of its first flight from Los Angeles' Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) to the Bay Area's Sonoma County Airport (STS). When Avelo took flight on April 28, 2021, it became the first new airline in the U.S. in nearly 15 years – introducing a new era of affordable, convenient, and reliable air service for millions of American travelers.

Delta restarts service to Nigeria from New York-JFK, upgrades fleet for Ghana and South Africa
Delta currently operates daily service between Atlanta and Lagos and, with the resumption of daily New York-JFK service, will offer a total of 14 weekly flights to Nigeria in December through the first half of January and 10 weekly flights for the remainder of winter 2024.
Korean Air to launch new route to Macau
Korean Air is launching a new daily service between Seoul Incheon and Macau from July 1. Flights depart from Incheon International Airport at 9:15 pm and arrive at Macau International Airport at 11:55 pm. The return flight departs from Macau International Airport at 1:10 am the next day and arrives at Incheon International Airport at 6:00 am. The flight time is approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes.

Lufthansa City Airlines starts ticket sales in April and flight operations in June
As the newest airline in the Lufthansa Group, Lufthansa City Airlines will launch its flight operations on June 26, 2024 with the first flight from Munich to Birmingham. As of now guests will be able to book their tickets on feeder services for Lufthansa as well as for direct flights between Munich and numerous destinations. It will then also be possible to book the offered routes under flight numbers with the new airline code “VL” via the familiar Lufthansa Group sales channels.
