Stayed a couple of nights for a meeting. Used the exercise room. A bit small perhaps but managed to fit in all I wanted.

"Very nice hotel, all staff are friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay, the food is amazing, and it's such a quiet place."
Excellent short stay and Fairmont Staff made it very enjoyable! Happy Hour Food was good ( the beef loaded nachos) Pass on the calamari tasteless and too salty The front desk was always very friendly and quick to help with anything. Probably the best hotel in Winnipeg. Beds are excellent, amenities are great, service is very good!
It was great! The gym was alittle crowded but that was due to timing.

Staff were amazing food was excellent
The room required serious updates. The plastic on the toilet seat was cracked and peeling, the grout on the floor looked worn and dirty. The mattress was beyond worn and the pillow topper was doing nothing to hide its sags. The arm chair had some sort of fluid stains on the foot rest. Considering the Fairmont is located in a high crime area in the city, I did not feel safe in my room at all - the system should have a deadbolt and at a minimum the chain be updated to a more secure bar model. While the food in the evening restaurant was good, the servers were not greeting/seating people as they came in and they were swearing at each other behind the bar. There was no one behind the front desk when I arrives (at approximately 5:00pm) and it too a number of minutes before anyone showed up. The same situation was experienced by a colleague who arrived later in the evening at 10:30pm. I was also not told about any of the hotel's amenities (gym, restaurants, in-room service etc. and had to ask or call for answers) The booking went wrong and I was booked for TWO rooms. Thankfully I caught the agent's mistake prior to the refund time. Another colleague had her room incorrectly booked by the agent and when she arrived she was told she had been a no-show for the week prior and was charged. I have little faith in the Accor service. I did not report any of my concerns in person as I was, thankfully, only staying for one night and will NOT be back to the Winnipeg Fairmont. Too many improvements need to be made to gain my loyalty.
We were treated like royalty from the moment we met the valet. When we got to the 19th floor, the attention was so special and every detail was thought of. In Winnipeg again, we would absolutely return to this hotel. Noah was the best!
We were in town for a wedding Had a great stay

The staff were exceptional and helpful. The rooms were very dated, hallway tables looked like they were from second hand store, lobby washrooms were overpowered with urine smell. This building has history but hasn’t been maintained.
