This video offers a taste of each track from Shantala’s album called FIVE (2023). The music is woven with exquisite images of the natural world and sacred temples. It features many of the extraordinary artists included on the album.
FIVE, Shantala’s fifth studio album of sacred world chants, began as a labor of hope and love during the peak of the pandemic. It is offered with the intention of contributing to a more peaceful and harmonious world.
More about FIVEOur song, “I Will Stand With You,” was written after we learned that a friend of ours was verbally attacked because of her color. The song features the amazing musicians Tyia Wilson, Bibi McGill, Morgan Doctor and Jared May.
Now, we are sharing our vision of creating a full-length song video to raise awareness of the racial inequity in this country.

This video of sacred chanting is dedicated in gratitude to the great beings that have changed our lives forever with their love: Neem Karoli Baba (Maharajji), Siddhi Ma, and Ram Dass.
The video and audio for our adaptation of the classic “Govindam Adi Purusham” was captured live at the Saraha Nyingma Buddhist Institute in Eugene, Oregon.
This homespun video was made with each of the artists recording their parts in their respective home studios. The video features Benjy & Heather along with the great cellist Jami Sieber and the incredible Grammy-winning wind players Steve Gorn and Nancy Rumbel.
