The steak quesadilla is so good and big too. Both of us couldn't finish 1 lol. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Music was good as well. I was 1st a bit discouraged by the 2* reviews but luckily we still gave it a chance and didn't get disappointed.

Went here for birthday dinner. We used to go to the Plainfield when they were here. Loved the Christmas tree burrito. Ordered it in Naperville and it had less than a quarter cup of meat filling. Just sad.

My wife and I were walking around downtown Naperville and saw that this restaurant had lots of people and live band. We decide to have dinner there.
It was a wrong decision, we ordered homemade guacamole and fajitas. The food was bland, it did not even have salt. The vegetables in fajita were soggy and stale. Guacamole was just mashed Avocado. The basket had few whole chips rest were small pieces. This was the worst food I have ever had.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jae T.Arlington Heights, IL084Dec 3, 2023
If you don't want to be discriminated, DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. I thought I was the only one but when i checked their reviews there were others who experienced racism/discrimination from this place. I have been a permanent resident in the US for 5 years and this is the only place that told me my PR ID is not a "valid" ID.
OWNER also responds to reviews rudely not just to me but to other reviews as well. Obviously, they don't care about good customer service. Just check on owner's response :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 24, 2022
My friends and I were in downtown Naperville and came across Potter's. The vibes seem really nice. There was live music, and the band sounded great.
We were thirsty so we decided to grab some drinks there. We were sat upon arrival even though it was a Sunday night. We got complementary chips and salsa too. We decided to try out some of the food items. In all honesty, the food was mediocre at best. Would give it a 2 star, but the atmosphere definitely adds a star. If you just want to grab drinks with friends and chill outdoors while listening to live music (and NOT hungry), it is a pretty nice place.
I would say the best item we ate were the fries. The jalapeño bombs are just sour cream bombs and the salad was just ok. Not much flavor in anything overall. My friend also asked for another beer to two different servers but never got it. The prices were a bit steep too considering everything. Overall, I don't think we would be back unless it is just to support the bands that play there.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dee M.Bradenton, FL015429Aug 13, 2023
Only food that was good were Burritos.
Tacos-corn tortillas greasy little meat with little cilantro and chopped onions only
Only 1 Bartender very slow bar service
Services young and interested in hanging in the corner of bar chatting it up.
Patio same as always.
It is not the Potters it was 15 years ago.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 13, 2023
Nice outdoor patio seating. Fun vibes with music, an outdoor bar, colorful umbrellas. There were people there giving out free corona and giving info on recycling the bottles into sand so that was cool. Service was prompt and everyone was kind. The food was basic, not especially memorable, but good. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch. A little overpriced, but nothing out of the norm for this area.

So disappointed - came in a week or so ago and ordered Veggie fajitas. I was given only mushrooms and onions - NO peppers! How is this a full meal for someone who isn't ordering meat? Tired of being a vegetarian and getting the shaft by local places who can't be bothered to actually fix a decent vegetarian dish. Why have it on the menu then?

Wow! Planned an engagement party for 30+people at Potters upstairs venue and it was amazing! Taylor was super helpful in planning for food and seating and gave great suggestions. Richard was our bartender and handled EVERYTHING at the party perfectly from service to the toast to food and more service!!
I knew the party would be okay with good food, but the set up of outside tables, umbrellas, buffet setting and service was above my very high expectations! It was perfect and didn't cost over any estimates.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cy G.Chicago, IL191269Aug 13, 2022
Horrible bridal shower experience. A memorable night was ruined by stupidity and unnecessary aggression. A member in our party was discriminated against based on "dress code" and "gang affiliation." For a pink bandana with flamingo's on it.
However, when someone else in the party wore the bandana ( a nice white woman) and passed by the same security guard, who came to yell at us twice, nothing was said to her. To make matters worse, when I approached security and asked if I could speak to a manager, he interrogated me on why I needed to, said no one was available, and proceeded to argued with me and refused to call a manager for a solid 15 minutes before getting his security manager and the restaurant manager to speak to us. When we would attempt to explain the situation he did not listen to anything that was said and tried to say we were raising our voices at him, in an attempt to deflect from the matter at hand instead of attempting to diffuse the situation and obviously he is going to take his colleagues side. He did admit that the bandana shouldn't have been an issue and we shouldn't have been yelled at in first place.
Upon leaving, I confirmed with security at the door that preforms the bag check if he would have told him to remove his bandana if it was a security concern or against dress code and he said he would have.
I didn't realize that it was company policy for security and management to have different dress code rules and that security had the authority to refuse management to parties.
There also is no visible dress code on Potters social media, website, and on the premises. They can say it wasn't personal or racially motivated but it was proven that it was. Disgusting.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
