Work Opportunity Tax Credit Coalition

Since 1980, major trade associations and firms have joined with forward-looking companies and professionals to advocate tax-based strategies to hire and train unemployed workers for growth occupations – the keystone of our nation's commitment to expanding opportunity. Since 2017, WOTC Coalition members have joined to launch Repeal BEAT Coalition to lead the effort to repeal the unfair Base Erosion and Anti-Abuse Tax, which injures the global competitiveness of many firms.

About Us

The Work Opportunity Tax Credit Coalition is an alliance of more than 100 firms and organizations advocating targeted tax credits as an economic policy tool for Congress and the States to give private employers an incentive to hire chronically unemployed workers characterized by either low skills, low income, low workforce participation, or high unemployment.
