In the summer Harmonica collection you’ll have twenty-one beloved Music Together®® songs, a CD and songbook with activities you can recreate at home. You'll learn "Jack-in-the-Box", a finger play with a surprise ending. You'll love dancing and singing "Old Brass Wagon" and meeting "Two Little Kitty Cats" who jump around and run and play. Another week you'll meet a firefly who sparkles magically in the song "Hotaru Koi" while we pretend to be out in the dark. We also will play and move to "Merry-go-Round".

In the fall session you will take home the Fiddle song collection with twenty-five songs: a child centered beautifully illustrated songbook, a CD, and a downloadable version of the songs along with access to the Family Music Zone® on the Music Together website where you can access some great additional content. You and your child will sing, move, play instruments and dance to many long time favorite songs including "Crawdad Song" and "No More Pie" where we sing about what to do if we have no more pie!!!. Another week you'll love dancing and singing "Los Fandangos" and then sing "Can You Do This?" a mirror game to play with your partner!  You'll also have some fun marching around the house to "Marching and "Drumming"  and then play hide and seek with "Here is the Beehive"!  Check out the schedule to see all the classes.

Music Education is essential.  Research has shown that music supports all learning. Children use their whole brain and body, making connections that support cognitive, language and physical development.  Music is invaluable. We have all had moments where we have been transported by music. All children should be given the tools to express themselves through music. There is a window of time in a child's development before they reach 8 or 9 years old where children can reach their full musical potential. Music Together classes provide the opportunity to reach that potential in a fun, playful environment.  Children immersed in music early in life will benefit from this exposure for the rest of their lives.

In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes recordings and materials for you to use at home, online access to the songs through the Music Together app, and a family newsletter full of resources and music-making ideas.

Tuition for 6 week Music Together is $165

Tuition for the 10 week Fall Session is $250.

There will be no sibling fee. We hope your whole family will participate! Please register siblings so we can add everyone to our rosters.

Making Music Helps

I would like to be able to help more families make music together. When we are all together making music our sense of community will grow. Do you know a family or do you have a connection with your community that can reach out to families that would not be able to attend classes without assistance? Please text me at 508-838-9815 if you can help me to reach out! -Gwyn Valentine, Old Colony Music Together
