Supplies needed
We urgently need donations of both cat, kitten, dog and puppy food. Other equipment needed includes cat scratching posts and heat pads.
You can donate via the RSPCA charity shop in Glossop or in store at Tesco Glossop or Sainsbury’s Denton.
You can also donate via Amazon.
Fosterers needed
The branch needs people living in the Tameside and Glossop areas who can foster cats, kittens, dogs and puppies in their own homes.

As a self-funding charity we do not receive any money from the government, local authority, lottery or local funding agencies.

New Scheme
January 2022
For several years the branch has been donating dog and cat food to local food banks so that their members are able to collect food for their much loved family pets. Thanks to a small legacy we are hoping to extend our help to the animals of people who are finding it difficult to provide food for their animals in these hard times but may not use the food banks.
If you are in the Tameside and Glossop area and are faced with an unexpected bill which leaves you struggling to feed your family including your pets please don’t hesitate to ask us to help out. We can’t guarantee that we will be able to deliver the same food your dog or cat is used to but we will do our best to provide this or an acceptable alternative.

If you have lost or found a pet
- If you have lost a pet do continue to check with local services such as dog wardens and vets
- Ensure the microchip is up to date to increase chances of being reunited, especially if they turn up out of the area.
