The afternoon and evening will bring a mix of cloud and sunshine. Some showery rain affecting the south midlands and south will move a little further westwards. Otherwise, there'll be a lot of dry weather, but with a scattering of showers too, a few heavy. Maximum temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in light to moderate variable winds.

Any showers will generally die out early tonight to leave a mainly dry night with long clear spells. A cold night for late April, with a touch of air and grass frost along with some mist or fog patches. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +3 degrees in light variable breezes.

Tomorrow

A cold start on Sunday but mainly dry with plenty of morning sunshine. Becoming cloudier from the west through the day, with showers spreading eastwards, a few heavy. Highest temperatures ranging from 10 to 13 degrees with a moderate southwest to west breeze developing.
