Hi, I'm Jonas Emanuel Müller. I work for Modeling Cooperation where I do computational modeling and build research software to mitigate risks from transformative AI.

Before co-founding Modeling Cooperation, I worked as a software engineer and Scrum Master in finance.

I also have a decade of experience in governing various organizations.

IT

Currently, I work for Modeling Cooperation, which I also co-founded.

Previously, I have:

• worked on the Miro media software (which had two million subscribers)
• been the head of IT for a think thank focused on rational and critical thinking
• been a software engineer and Scrum Master for the advisory software of a major Swiss bank
• built and maintained the IT infrastructure of several organizations and implemented DevOps processes

Governance

I have been involved in the governance of the following organizations:

• Member of the Board of Directors, Animal Charity Evaluators (2015-2021)
• Chair of the Board of Directors, Animal Charity Evaluators (2015-2019)
• Member of the Board of Directors, Vegan Society Switzerland (2012-2015)
• Co-founder & member of the Board of Directors, Effective Altruism Switzerland (2013-2016)

Tools for managers and executives. It has been used to teach management and governance to executive MBAs at around half a dozen universities in China and Europe.
