Christian Watson GB WRPackers' Christian Watson: Feels more confident in hamstring
17m agoAfter undergoing eight hours of testing at the University of Wisconsin's School of Medicine earlier in the offseason, Watson believes he has solved his right hamstring issues that have caused him to miss several games through his first two seasons, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
"For me, it really was the asymmetry between the legs," Watson explained. "It comes from a lot of things. Obviously, the issues I've had in the past with hamstrings, not fully recovering from those strength-wise. I've been attacking the strength side of it, trying to get that symmetry back and it's been huge for me. I feel really, really good. I gotta continue grinding at it." Watson states he had a 20 percent difference in muscle mass between his right and left legs, but it's now between 8-10 percent. His goal is six percent. Watson was a full participant in OTAs, and getting him through a healthy offseason would be a big first step. He's the most explosive weapon in a deep Green Bay wideout room. Watson has averaged 15 yards per catch over his first two seasons.

8h agoThe Raiders reworked Crosby's contract to give him an additional $6 million in 2023 and $1.2 million in 2024, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The reworked contract does not come with any additional years to Crosby's current contract. With Malcolm Koonce already in the mix and the signing of Christain Wilkins this offseason, the Raiders should have among the best defensive lines in the league in 2024.

D'Wayne Eskridge SEA WRSeahawks' Dee Eskridge: Taking part in OTAs
13h agoEskridge (ribs) has been an active participant at the Seahawks' OTAs, Tim Weaver of Seahawks Wire reports.
Eskridge ended the 2023 campaign on injured reserve with a rib injury, but he now appears to be fully healthy at OTAs. The 27-year-old re-signed with Seattle in March after failing to record a reception over 16 offensive snaps in four games last season. The wide receiver has operated primarily as a return-specialist over the last two years, a role that he'll likely remain in with the Seahawks in 2024.

Albert Okwuegbunam PHI TEEagles' Albert Okwuegbunam: Active for OTAs
13h agoOkwuegbunam (hamstring) has been participating in the Eagles' team OTAs, Fran Duffy of Big News Network reports.
Okwuegbunam was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury in late December, but he looks to be 100 percent ahead the 2024 season, his second campaign with the Eagles. The tight end appeared in four games with Philadelphia last year, failing to catch his only target. Okwuegbunam will likely operate in a depth role this season behind the likes of Dallas Goedert and newly-acquired C.J. Uzomah (knee).

Bryce Ford-Wheaton NYG WRGiants' Bryce Ford-Wheaton: Participating in OTAs
13h agoFord-Wheaton (knee) was an active participant at the Giants' team OTAs this week, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Ford-Wheaton missed the entirety of last season after suffering a torn ACL in the preseason, but he now looks to be all set to return to the field in 2024. The wide receiver joined New York as an undrafted free agent in 2023 after a senior campaign with West Virginia in which he secured 62 receptions for 675 yards and seven touchdowns and he'll attempt to crack the Giants' active roster in order to make his NFL debut this year.

Lawrence Cager NYG TEGiants' Lawrence Cager: Good to go for 2024
13h agoCager (groin) has been an active participant at the Giants' OTAs, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Cager finished the 2023 season on injured reserve with a groin injury, which he has now fully recovered from. The tight end appeared in 11 games with the Giants last season, catching four passes for 36 yards and a touchdown while operating primarily as a special-teams player, a role he'll likely remain in if he cracks the active roster in 2024.

2h agoJankowski started in right field and went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Thursday's 5-2 loss to Philadelphia.
Jankowski got the start in right as Adolis Garcia was limited to DH duties for a second consecutive game. Garcia had missed two games with a right forearm injury and has yet to play the field since returning Wednesday. For Jankowski, who led the Rangers with 19 steals in 2023, it was just his second theft in 33 games this season.

Garcia made a second consecutive start at DH after missing two games with a right forearm injury. It's unclear when he will resume his work in a defensive role, but as long as his bat works, that shouldn't matter much. The home run was the team-leading 12th for Garcia, who also leads the Rangers with 36 RBI.

Grayson Rodriguez BAL SPOrioles' Grayson Rodriguez: Earns fifth win
2h agoRodriguez (5-1) earned the win over the White Sox on Thursday, allowing two runs on three hits and five walks over five innings while striking out seven.
Rodriguez ran into trouble out of the gate after surrendering a leadoff single to Tommy Pham to open the game. The right-hander would fail to retire four of the first six batters in the frame and even walked home the first run of the contest, but was able to escape without any further damage being done. His command issues would continue in the third when he issued a two-out walk and then hit Paul DeJong with a pitch in the following at-bat, eventually leading to Chicago's second run coming home on an Andrew Benintendi single. Rodriguez has now allowed just two runs over 11 innings since returning from the injured list, though his five walks Thursday marked a season high. He's now issued at least three free passes in three straight outings.

2h agoKiner-Falefa went 2-for-4 with a triple and a solo homer in Thursday's win over the Tigers.
Kiner-Falefa jumped on the third pitch he saw from Jack Flaherty in the top of the third and launched it over the wall in left field to put the Blue Jays on the board. The outfielder would add a triple in his next at-bat, giving him back-to-back games with two hits after previously riding an 0-for-20 skid. The home run was his third of the season, though two of those have come over his last 11 games.

2h agoCandelario batted third and went 1-for-4 for with a walk, a triple, an RBI and was caught stealing in Thursday's 6-4 extra-inning loss to the Padres.
Candelario tripled a run home in the first inning then was caught stealing home on a double-steal attempt to end the inning. He was later removed for a pinch runner in the 10th inning after he had walked. A recent hot stretch prompted a move up the batting order; Candelario has batted third or fourth in four straight contests.

2h agoGuerrero went 2-for-5 with a double, a two-run home run and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Tigers.
Guerrero went hitless in his first three at-bats before sending Danny Jansen to third with a double in the top of the eighth, eventually leading to both runners coming home during a three-run inning for Toronto. The first baseman wasn't done there, however, adding a two-run homer in the following frame as the Blue Jays blew out the Tigers. It marked Guerrero's seventh multi-hit game this month, where he's now batting .371 with two homers, 13 RBI and 12 runs scored. The long ball was his first since May 5 against the Nationals.

10h agoBrown contributed 40 points (14-27 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 8-11 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 37 minutes during Thursday's 126-110 victory over the Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Brown has been on a roll of late, and this 40-point effort was his best scoring mark of the 2023-24 playoff campaign. The star forward has surpassed the 25-point mark in four of his last five appearances, and he should continue to have a massive role in the Celtics' offensive scheme during Game 3 on Saturday.

10h agoTatum posted 23 points (9-20 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds and five assists across 42 minutes during Thursday's 126-110 victory over the Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Tatum endured a slow start in this game, but he improved as the contest progressed, and the star forward ended with a solid stat line even though his shot wasn't falling, particularly from three-point range. Tatum has surpassed the 20-point mark in each of his last six playoff appearances and should continue to lead the Celtics on offense when the series shifts to Indiana for Game 3 on Saturday.

10h agoWhite ended Thursday's 126-110 win over the Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals with 23 points (8-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes.
Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics in their Game 2 victory, but White was impressive in his own right as well, recording at least 20 points for the fifth time in the current playoff run and also filling out the stat sheet admirably. White holds a secondary role in the Celtics' offensive scheme, but he still delivers excellent fantasy value due to his all-around ability and occasional scoring exploits.

10h agoSiakam registered 28 points (13-17 FG, 2-2 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes during Thursday's 126-110 loss to the Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Siakam was Indiana's best player by a wide margin, as he missed just four of his 17 shots and also made his presence felt on the glass in a game during which the Pacers looked outmatched in terms of physicality and intensity. Siakam should remain one of Indiana's primary offensive weapons in Game 3, and he would be in line for an even more prominent role if Tyrese Haliburton (leg) doesn't play Saturday.

10h agoTurner had eight points (3-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds and one steal over 24 minutes during Thursday's 126-110 loss to the Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Turner had issues with foul trouble all game long, and that was the main reason why he was limited to just 24 minutes -- his second-lowest mark in the current playoff run. Turner also snapped his streak of games with double-digit points at six, and he'll aim to bounce back in Game 3 on Saturday.

Nembhard extended his run of playoff performances with double-digit points to five, and he's also dished out at least five assists three times during that span. Nembhard might be in line for a more prominent role in the playmaking department if Tyrese Haliburton (leg) doesn't play in Game 3 on Saturday.

8h agoDadonov registered an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 3-2 double-overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 1.
Dadonov has a goal and three assists over his last five contests. The winger has benefited from taking on a larger role while Roope Hintz (upper body) is out. Dadonov has seven points, 20 shots on net, 15 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 14 playoff outings, so even with his recent increased offense, he's still little more than a complementary part of the Stars' attack.

Jamie Benn DAL LWStars' Jamie Benn: Logs assist in loss
8h agoBenn posted an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 3-2 double-overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 1.
Benn capitalized on a turnover to set up Tyler Seguin's first goal of the game at 6:11 of the second period. While Benn wasn't much of a factor in the first round, he put up five points over six contests in the second round. The 34-year-old has nine points, 31 shots on net, 39 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 14 playoff outings while filling a middle-six role.

8h agoRobertson posted an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 3-2 double-overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 1.
Robertson still hasn't scored since Game 5 of the first round, but he's made up for it with eight helpers over his last seven contests. The winger is at 13 points, 28 shots on net, 23 hits, 19 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 14 playoff contests. Robertson continues to hold down a top-six role, and his increased physical play helps bolster his value in DFS formats.

8h agoSeguin scored two goals on six shots and added two hits in Thursday's 3-2 double-overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 1.
Seguin willed the Stars back into the game with a tally in the second period and the equalizer with 3:23 left in the third. The comeback went no further, as the Oilers got a Connor McDavid goal 32 seconds into the second overtime. Seguin has turned up his offense with five goals and two assists over his last six games. He's at 10 points, 45 shots on net, 20 hits and a plus-8 rating through 14 playoff appearances.

Jake Oettinger DAL GStars' Jake Oettinger: Loses Game 1 in double-overtime
8h agoOettinger stopped 35 of 38 shots in Thursday's 3-2 double-overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
Oettinger was strong in the contest, but the Oilers attacked quickly and scored on a Connor McDavid goal 32 seconds into the second overtime. This was just the fifth time in 14 playoff outings Oettinger has allowed three or more goals. The Stars have dropped Game 1 of their last seven playoff series, so this is not a reason for concern just yet, but they'll need Oettinger at his best in Saturday's Game 2 to even it up.

8h agoKulak recorded an assist, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Thursday's 3-2 double-overtime win over the Stars in Game 1.
Kulak has a helper in three of the last four games to provide some depth offense from the third defensive pairing. The 30-year-old is up to five points, 10 shots on net, 21 blocked shots, 18 hits and a plus-3 rating through 13 playoff appearances. While he won't see big minutes or power-play time, Kulak is a steady blueliner who can keep things under control in his own zone.
