Ryan Seacrest celebrated the 20th anniversary of hosting mornings on KIIS Los Angeles by taking a road trip. The “Ryan’s Riding the OC to LA: The 20th Anniversary Thank You Tour” began during his show at 7am on Thursday (April 25), and continued into the evening. Doug Stephan’s “Good Day” program will no longer be offered as a weekday morning show as it moves to a weekend program. Magellan AI says podcasting’s biggest advertisers held spending steady between February and March, as the online mental health brand BetterHelp and Amazon continued to lead the pack. The top 15 advertisers spent a combined $49,523,300, according to Magellan AI estimates. That was steady with what the biggest advertisers spent a month earlier. Podcasters considering producing video versions of their shows have another reason to make the leap. The IAB says total digital video advertising spend is projected to grow 16% in 2024. That is nearly 80% faster than total media overall. In total, digital video ad revenues are expected to reach $63 billion in 2024. “Advertisers go where consumers are, and today that means digital video,” said David Cohen, CEO of the IAB. Bob Ramsey is moving from Zobrost Media sports “590 The Fan” KFNS to St. Louis Sports Radio Inc. talk outlet “The Big 550” KTRS. Ramsey, who had been co-hosting 10am-12pm on “The Fan,” will debut on KTRS’ “The Heidi Glaus Show with Josh Gilbert” afternoon show on Monday, May 13.
