Culturally Responsive Project Based Learning(PBL), Social-Emotional Learning(SEL) and STEAM using the required curriculum in your district

Culturally Responsive Project-Based Learning (PBL) ,Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and STEAM are essential components of a well-rounded education system that values diversity and equity. By integrating culturally sensitive content and perspectives into project-based learning experiences, students can develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for different cultures and backgrounds. Additionally, emphasizing social-emotional skills such as self-awareness, empathy, and relationship-building in the educational curriculum nurtures student well-being and promotes positive social behaviors. This workshop will demonstrate how to integrate these teaching methods using many different forms of technology to enhance your existing curriculum. At the end of this workshop participants will have a well defined PBL/SEL/STEAM unit of study for implementation. Participants will be asked to bring a unit of study in a core subject area that you would like to develop into a Culturally Responsive PBL/SEL/STEAM unit.
