Updating based on my experience trying to get a 30th birthday party/rainbow baby shower catered.

First they were not available for the date (apparently there is a change of ownership going on) so make sure to get a quote VERY early on.

Also they told me that there is a 3 dozen minimum, even for personal orders that you are picking up yourself (no catering and no delivery). It's $42/dozen so that is $126 minimum, which is fine for an event but ridiculous for a personal order, lol.

Very disappointed they couldn't be more helpful with the event. Definitely now regret recommending them to friends before this.

I contacted these guys through Yelp about pink cake pops for a baby shower. They got right back to me. And then I forgot to call them until the night before. We then spoke on the phone, she said they were making cookies and cream and red velvet for the following day. I ordered 3 dozen, she took my cc and my son picked them up the next afternoon at a location in Studio City. SUPER EASY!

The cake pops were beautiful!! Also very tasty! Red velvet was my favorite. Kinda wish they weren't so good cause I ate way more than I should of, and I don't even like sweets!

SSBS helped me on a last minute order & I couldn't be more grateful! They were in the middle of moving locations and still managed to fulfill my order which was an absolute blessing. Everyone loved the cake pops & the ordering/pickup process was simple! Thank you for all your help! You truly helped us bring the dessert table to life!

These are legit the best cake pops in LA...no..the world! I ordred 50 pops and 24 mini cupcakes for my boyfriends surprise birthday party and they were a huge hit! Such a cute idea instead of a typical birthday cake. We got a mix of Red Velvet, Birthday Cake and Cookies n Cream. All of them were delicious but the red velvets were my favorite.

Finally, working with Emily was a breeze. She was super responsive and helpful in my decision making process. I will definitely order cake pops from her again :)

I used Emily and Surprise Surprise Bake Shop again a year later for my son's first birthday party. We did a Top Hats and Mustache theme and the cake pops turned out fantastic. Yummy flavors, awesome designs, easy pick up and payment process. Thanks again!! We will continue to use you for our future events!

LOVED them! We ordered 5 dozen like a day before our company pay day lunch. They delivered them on time, they were in our company colors (as requested) They gave us some gluten free, and they are delicious. The cake is really soft & moist, not dry at all.
I'm writing this as my people are still eating them. I keep getting IM's saying; "so good, amazing, where did you get these?!" My gluten free people are so happy they can have cake too. :)
I only wish they would have sent stands to present them in, I didn't even think to ask for that. Still a 5+ star rating!

I ordered cake pops for my daughter's 3rd birthday party and they were a huge hit. I had sent an inquiry via email through the website and within 24 hrs got a response. Communicated everything via email, all my questions, pricing, flavor options, delivery & set up options/costs, etc.

Emily matched the cake pop colors to the colors of the bday invite. Not only did the set up arrive on time and look appealing but the taste was exceptional. All my guests were surprised how moist and delicious the cake pops were. My daughter of course had to sample all 3 flavors! It's no wonder they are voted as the best cake pops in LA b/c that is the truth. I will definitely be calling Surprise Surprise Bake Shop for future events!

Surprise surprise bake shop did an amazing job for the cake pops for my wedding. They were on time with the delivery, amazingly delicious and a huge hit. All 100 pops were gone within the hour. The owner, Emily Blake, was amazing and responsive. She was present at the tasting and even provided additional samples when we asked for new flavors. Could not recommend her more highly. I'll definitely be going back.

Awesome (and tasty) treats for every occasion. If you're looking to impress your 5 year old nephew with Iron Man cake pops or a sweetheart with a heart shaped one this be the place to call. Owner Emily is the best and her sweets taste heavenly. Yum. 3 thumbs up!

PS: No order too small or too big. She did 300 pieces for my company holiday party. They went like Hot Cake (Pops). Hehe.

I ordered some cake pops for an office holiday party and they were a huge hit! Everyone loved the different flavors and designs. Emily does a great job with her creations and you can taste the difference between these and some prepackaged store bought cake pops.

I will definitely be ordering again and highly recommend you give them a try!
