This is a cute little boutique. I wandered in because I saw a MN shirt in the window that I was interested in. I didn't stay very long since the prices were a little out of my budget ($30 for a t-shirt) but the items are definitely cute and I love the vibe of the store.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this was my kind of store!

Basically one of those shops where you could find a gift for anyone, any occasion or just for yourself!

So many fun things I was having a hard time trying not to buy a lot.

I couldn't help myself from doing the "potty dance" around the store, so I asked the lady working in the store if there was a bathroom close by. She pointed to a hallway and said "out there". I was just happy there was one close by so I could actually go back and continue shopping!

I finally decided to just buy a shot glass (for my collection!) and I approached the counter to pay. The lady working the register (not old/not young) was very cold. I tried making friendly conversation saying how much I liked the store, but I was getting nothing back conversation-wise. I stated how I feel like I've seen her before and asked if she had any other stores and she replied with "nope." What the heck lady!? So stinkin RUDE!

I was done trying to talk to this grump. While she finished her sale in SILENCE I noticed her watching my friend like a HAWK as if she was going to steal something. I just felt so upset, that I wish I had never bought the stupid $8 shotglass.

Most of my shotglasses come from a fun location or have a fun memory to go with them. This one will forever be tied to the grumpiest lady in White Bear Lake! :)

It's unfortunate that such a lovely store has such a rude person working there. As I walked out I gave my friend a look and said, "maybe she's just having a bad day." But that's not the customer's problem.

Sorry. Not returning. You can find this stuff in little shops elsewhere.

This place has some cute shit---yes it does----a lot of cards--jewelry--gift books---hand made mostly local and artsy stuff. I purchased myself a pete the cat print here and also some really cute cat note cards. Some items are spendy for what they are. In reading the other review I was reminded that yeah the lady that works there is not overtly outgoing or chatty---perhaps she is a troubled quiet emo artist type and we are more used to the outgoing gypsy type creative soul that lights up the room when entering. Either way it is her problem not mine and I would certainly stop in next time i am in White Bear because I like cool cute shit!

Enjoyed my visit here. Local brands. Local feel. Great place for gift ideas and self indulgence!

Truly is truly unique! Beautiful selection of reasonably priced gift items made by local artisans. The jewelry selection is fantastic. Great place to buy gifts or treat yourself to something special. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the people who work here. People have been friendly, but let me shop in peace. I hate stores where a clerk is perched on your shoulder making suggestions. This is my kind of place.

I enjoy boutique shopping and I've long since grown tired of "Goodthings". Unfortunately i find them so stagnant. They continue to order the same goods from the same suppliers. the store is boring! Behold, i saw this great little shop across the streed and decided to check it out!! Great products, unique lines! Kudos to these ladies for finding things that are "hard to find." Another PLUS is that the prices weren't too overblown as some boutiques can be. I got a great belt for just $30!
you NEED to check this place out. It is not all the same stuff you keep seeing at places like Bibelot or Goodthings.
